Huh a clown weirdly dressed like a smiling Paul Menard
I love it, you have a new picture to post.
He already ruined his persona by cracking the first smile a week ago. The big red nose accompanied by the over exaggerated smile is simply overkill.I love it, you have a new picture to post.
You’re in luck. It starts back up next Saturday night and runs through November. Well, at least today’s version of it. I think they now call them Cup cars.I miss IROC

Don’t say that too loud. Brian might be listening. Its not the same until Texas can look like a plate race

I park there every year for both races. There is not a shuttle or bus to the track but it’s really not a bad walk.Bristol night race parking .Has anyone used the BMS North paid lot. And if so, was there a bus to the track.?
Was it $10.00 to park each night.?I park there every year for both races. There is not a shuttle or bus to the track but it’s really not a bad walk.
Great Thanks .!Yes. Unless it was a rainout and rescheduled for the next day and it was free then
I'm guessing the LS 14 and LS 18 are tire pressures.I picked up a pair of tires today off of craigslist. The guy says they are from the "Crown Royal car" but that's all he knows. He used to own a liquor store, and says his rep from Crown Royal gave the tires to him. The date on the tires are 11/2006 so I'm assuming they were run during the 2007 season, meaning they would have been on Jamie McMurray's 26.
Here's what I don't understand....looking at the tires, one says LS 14 and the other says LS 18. At least that's what it looks like to me? Meaning one is a left side tire off the 14 (Sterling Marlin) and the other is a left side tire off the 18 (JJ Yeley). Some of the markings are easy to identify......One is a left front from the first set, the other is a left front from the 4th set. You can see where they were measuring tire wear. I don't understand what the triangle drawing means, and don't understand what TC 30/80 and DI3 30/50 mean.
Any ideas?
Located east of the track there is free parking off of 394 on Sportsway Dr. Shuttles to/from the track. Was it $10.00 to park each night.?
Awesome job! Looks great.Started a little cornhole board project last week. Had a vision for these for a while now but just recently put it into motion to get them done for the season and my tailgating ventures to come.
This is the first one, was originally going to be a white 24 until they number swapped, but I still wanted to incorporate Chase's time in the 24 in some way, so I used the stripe design from his first 2 years. Everything is hand painted minus the driver door name badge at the bottom, got that from Hendrick a couple years ago.
Should have the 2nd board done this week, will be totally different and will share when I get it done.

I built some a while back with the decal on the front. I covered them with Minwax Wipe on Poly. That was a mistake. They were far to slippery.Do you apply some kind of top coat or finish over the paint?
Yeah I have some minwax polycrylic. I haven't done that step yet as I'm waiting to do them both at the same time. Hopefully that part turns out OK, have never applied it beforeDo you apply some kind of top coat or finish over the paint?
Dang that's exactly what I have except its the brush-onI built some a while back with the decal on the front. I covered them with Minwax Wipe on Poly. That was a mistake. They were far to slippery.
Did you use something that worked good?
Brushing may be better. It'll leave varying texture that is absent with the wipe-on Poly. I've noticed that a lot recently with wood that I've been working with. If anything, don't sand when you put it on. Sanding and then adding coats will make it too smooth. This from experience.Dang that's exactly what I have except its the brush-on
I appreciate the info, that's the part I've been stressing the most LOLBrushing may be better. It'll leave varying texture that is absent with the wipe-on Poly. Don't stress. You did an awesome job on those board(s). Hey, did you know they make a light that you mount underneath that circle? You can play well into the night. Here an example of what I'm talking about. These aren't the ones that I installed. I can't remember where I got mine.I appreciate the info, that's the part I've been stressing the most LOL
