Here is a guy that has no business driving a cup car

Fort Kent native Austin Theriault said Tuesday he is close to finalizing a deal that would enable him to make his debut in a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race this season or next year.

Theriault has been working closely with Old Orchard Beach native Archie St. Hilaire, owner of the Go FAS Racing Monster Energy Cup No. 32 Ford Mustang, to put together a two- or three-race deal.

He really should've gotten a full-time Truck ride after winning ARCA. At the very least, this will get him some more recognition.

#RUFUS?

I'm sold already looking at the names they are getting involved. This series sounds wild.

Um, what is that in the box? The white and black thing looks like it might be a Speedo the Europeans wear to the beach and I am not even going to comment on what the yellow thing looks like.

The point isn't what kids might hear in heat of competition (assuming the scanners are on the quoted driver at the time and not on MRN), it's why Weaver felt he had to repeat it.
That's because current reporters don't care about morals, it's more about being first.

Yet these are probably people upset by political correctness

Weaver is a passionate racing fan and now media member who provides quality coverage. He can write what and how he wants on his own Twitter feed, unless his employer or Twitter says otherwise. As a parent of 7 and 5 year-olds, everything doesn't have to be kid-proof. Won't be long until the 7 year old is hearing worse from his peers anyway. I still remember.

Has anyone noticed that Truex and Harvick are not running as good in these cars?
Looks like the new car has trimmed the sales of the big 3 last year and the runner up #14
has lost it as well. Pretty soon the #10 of SHR will be their best car. :D

yeah I have but the season is early and every track is a bit different with the setups that they have little if any knowledge about. It's been interesting so far I think. Wonder who will nail the setup for Texas. Pearn doing all of the bitching he is doing isn't a good sign he is all in. Boyer continues to make a fool out of himself. Yeah the new rules there will be comers and goers. Austin Dillion, Hemeric and the whole RCR outfit have made a big jump.

Updated qualifying rules...

Is the wording such as "may include" disallowing qualifying speeds and from Scott Milller, NASCAR SVP "probably get all their times disallowed " to cover any on track incident or rain impeding a driver from an attempt?

So they all sit in the designated staging area until one of them dares to move, then they all charge out behind him. I hope this changes things but I don't see it working.

I wonder if anyone has bothered to ask the crew chiefs how to fix this?

43 cars, 43 CC's giving 43 opinions of what ever is best for their car.
This system is not to difficult to understand. First you draw for qualifying order and the draws are made in the order of points. Next the cars are staged on pit road in that order. First car gets the signal to leave, 30 seconds later the second car leaves. Continue until all cars have made a time.
Start the race in that order. If the Car Chief made a big mistake, to bad you race what ya brung.

I'd stage them in order of reverse practice speeds, slowest in the front, but otherwise I'm with you. Heck, they can even keep their three rounds if they insist, as long as this method gets them off pit road without jockeying for position.
