Coocoo, Sterling, Steadman, Stirlin...quite the names in that family
Sterling also has a daughter named Sutherlin
Here's a cool story about this.....
And, I kid you not, his daughter is married to a guy named Micheal House. They have a son, guess what they named him? Brick. I am serious as a heart attack. Micheal runs open wheel modifieds at Highland Rim, Nashville and occasionally Huntsville. He's very good I might add. I think the grandson that's running late models is 14 or so.
Interesting perspective from Carl Long.
That is the best idea yet!
Does the Talladega Short Track really have cinderblock concrete as seats? I really thought a place like that would have halfway decent amenities...
The short track is a refreshing step back in time. It has old school charm like a lot of short tracks, dirt, and asphalt , had in the day.
Harvick's car for the All Star race. In pink
I vaguely remember being confused about this scheme in the past.
I kind of like it. At least I'll know which car is Kevin's. LOL
IMHO, NASCAR's biggest misstep over the years was listening to the suits more than the fans
He drove that pickup truck and trailer to the races too. I wonder if he is driving the big rig. He is someone who has and is working his tail off to make it to the races. My favorite kind of driver!
Wallace struggling with depression
Bet there was a driver that didn't think much of that big DC Solar sign in one of the turns at Charlotte.
An owner, too.
I added a couple DW hats to my collection.....
Dick Trickle statue dedicated in Wisconsin hometown
After six years of work and the dedication of volunteers and donations, a life-size statue of the late Dick Trickle was erected on Sunday in the former NASCAR driver’s hometown in Rudolph, Wisconsin.
Well no one made an erected joke until now
Extensive work in progress for Talladega. New Tunnel is done, they demo'd the garages and are adding a new press etc box. 50 million worth.
