Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

Go here and download Googles Picasa. It's a nice photo program, and it's free. It has a resize feature, so shoot for a file size of 60,000 to 100,000 bytes. I haven't used it in a long time. If you have trouble with the commands, let me know and I'll download it myself and take a refresher. I believe you can open a whole folder of photos and do a batch resize that creates resized images for all of them in a new folder.

It looks like she could be texting her girlfriend to let her know that this is the last time she is going on a blind date.:)

Or, she may be asking her if she can keep the rubber boots she borrowed to go clamming when they get back to the coast.

I doubt she's very stylish herself... note the red Galoshes, cut off shorts, plaid shirt and Zebra Stripe? purse

Keselowski crying on twitter after the race.

Brad Keselowski@keselowski
Dang, solid run, no trophy! Feel bad for my guys on 22 team, but sometimes you gotta play nice... I want the cup championship

Reads to me like he has his priorities in order and is focused on the bigger picture.
Perhaps but I've yet to see where beating up on Busch drivers on a regular basis has done much for a Cup driver winning the big prize.

IMO, his ego took a hit yesterday. Kind of like Edwards did when Keselowski was outrunning him. I don't expect Keselowski to react as Edwards did, however ;)

Crying? I don't think so at all. Seems to me he was just being smart and putting one in the payback bank.

Those "new" silver grandstands you see around Watkins Glen used to be in turns 3-4 at MIS. Good to see them put to use.

Concerning the race and post race comments I think he did a pretty good job of putting things in the proper perspsctive, and it may show a turn for the best in maturity for him and thats a good thing. Somewhere along the line I think he will punt Carl to make a point, I said a little maturity not wussing out.

I guess it's a matter of bending over too far to be friends with Carl. I would have liked to see Brad keep his front end in there when Carl ran him to the wall. They both would have wrecked, and nobody could argue it wasn't Carl wrecking Brad. Brad doesn't need NW points, and Sam would have run through for the win.

I'm glad that didnt happen, ( disclaimer- in my opinion ) I cannot stand Sams holier than thou attitude such as, I'm here to show the lower classes how to race. Watching him in person from a distance he is a certified ass.

I've never heard that said about Sam. Could we agree on the entertainment value of 2 cup guys wrecking themselves out of a 'play' race?

Rumor, so take it for what it's worth.

#39-Ryan Newman is expected to remain at Stewart-Haas Racing with additional support from sponsor Quicken Loans.

From Jayski.

Does anyone wanna take bets as whether or not Bruton Smith is oiling his track up as we speak. He could have saved himself a lot of money and race fans could get the wrecks they're longing for. :D

http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/1295201-did-nascar-cost-kyle-busch-a-victory-at-watkins-glen

If you didn't see this race and just read the articles, you'd think that there was 30 cars spinning out all around the track. Kyle Busch didn't spin cause of oil, he decided to put the squeeze on Brad at the end of the race and Brad did what Kyle and everybody else would've done, he put the bumper to him. JR's spin was way before the 47 was smoking and Jeff Gordon dumped it in the same place as Stewart did well before the "oil down" occured. It was a good race and a spectacular ending. NASCAR has a great race with no BS cautions, instead of people bitc*ing there was no yellow, they should be bitc*ing about all the races that have been ruined with BS yellows.

Just filled in the council deal DP, put in about the Boot, hope it helps if we all do.

We only get about 7 out of 10 races, wish we gottem all. Did you get my Indy message.
I did get the Indy message, thanks. I'd probably opt for the no-hookups option. The unit that we just got has an on-board generator. So far I've only tested it about an hour. It'll really get its test @ Bristol. I'm taking my portable just in case I run into any issues. Only 5 more days and we're Bristol bound!

Then lot 3- G for grass or 3-P are the best choices in my opinion, 3- P is better laid out and no tracking stuff into the rv. Later guys gotta go.
