Silly Season 2023

When the title sponsor of a race changed 15 years ago and fans don't even notice, it makes even more sense as to why some major corporations have left the sport.
I'm flattered to be considered representative of the fan base as a whole.

You'll notice the networks often don't mention a race's full sponsored name these days.

Race sponsors get 3 mentions if they don't buy air time. I think that's the number. Mike Joy has explained it on Twitter several times.

You’d think this was the first time Tony Stewart expressed his displeasure with the sanctioning body.

Please alert my vast array of electronic devices the moment he announces he’s leaving.

Yeah Stewart has been an example of a level head in all situations. Never one to fly off the handle.

Corey Lajoie in the 7 & Ty Dillon in the 77 both full time should be interesting. Both Spire cars will probably be battling around 30th in points if they can get a plate win.

Solid lineup, Corey gets a helping hand on a consistent basis.

Ty has his flashes, but he's a steady wheel that keeps his nose clean for the most part. Spire wrecked a lot of cars this year, maybe a stable two-driver team will ease that up some.

Good luck to them both next season.

Great Hire. I think the 42 is going to be do some things next year, I'm excited for Noah to get in a Cup car

I remember JR saying he's happy to see his crew guys moving up even if not to HMS. Means they're doing something right around there

Yep, remember him saying the same thing about his drivers. He loves getting a call from them letting him know they have a chance.
