Yeah couldn't believe it I had it on at work today and all of a sudden he's signing off at 4 ET and they went into a replay of TMD. I didn't want to listen to them 2 the first time, I'm definitely not going to listen to a replay of them

Right with you. Haven't listened for over a week because I just haven't been in the mood for the crap. I am not missing it. I will re-think my subscription (I know, finally) after all of this virus stuff blows over.

This is Harvick's medium, and he should stick with it IMO. I think he is terrible on TV. This is a great show.
They installed SiriusXM in my work truck just last week. The first day I tuned into Nascar Radio this show was on. I only got to listen for a few minutes.

I like it....he cuts straight through the bull****, and when he gets a caller, he gets respect. Not a fan of the driver Harvick nor the TV guy, but really, this is his deal.

Renewing my rant for 2021. The Morning Drive is the dumbest ass show anywhere. The babbled about beans yesterday (yes, you read that right) when other shows find interesting storylines. Pathetic. Today, they are talking about a topic Moody beat to death last week. Why the hell can't they find any talent? I need something during these winter months. We used to have it.

I know I flipped it on yesterday morning and they were doing everyone's 4 favorite thing beans? Wtf? Seriously? On a side note the show wasn't half bad during the holidays when the normal 2 were off

I heard the morning show with those two morons. "The Mount Rushmore of Beans" was the question of the day. They should fire them all.

Thank you. I know I bitch and whine about that station all of the time, but the thing is, Gille and whoever he has as a co-host is always great NASCAR talk....Trotta and Larry Mac are awesome too...but TMD and Moody on a roll is just crap. I mean the bean thing is all they can talk about? Tons of NASCAR stuff to discuss....this place does pretty well....NASCAR Radio has a serious production problem.

It's an insult to the sport IMO. I could listen to a Doug Yates interview all day as an example....but all they can talk about is beans?

Never has the lack of any NASCAR knowledge been more on display that this morning's TMD. Pistone has Hendrick entering this year as the #1 Team? The worst part is when Bagley interviews him as if he is an expert. While I am ranting.....Dustin Long who was on this morning is a nice guy, but literally says nothing other than what he reads on Twitter. Nothing. Are all of the NASCAR "insiders" gone?

Lots to talk about with cars on track Tuesday, but this show finds none of that. Others do. Fire the producer first, and then move to the mouths.

Oh so THIS is where we can vent on the NASCAR channel idiocy? Cool!
I wish SOOO bad the morning show had the original (my original lineup) of Marty Snider and David Poole. Wasn’t about them. Just NASCAR. The 2 current dudes make it about themselves half the time. Don’t give a crap about their evening, what Mia did, what Mike ate the night before, or their dumb adventures.
And I like Moody usually but he’s such the NASCAR apologist/excuse maker. Gets old. But he does get some idiotic ideas thrown at him.

I did enjoy surfing channels on my way home the other evening and Moody's topic was the Bristol dirt race. I happened to hit the station when a caller was basically calling him (Moody) out for praising the idea now when the caller had brought it up as an idea a couple years ago and Moody had bashed him as dumb in typical Moody fashion.

I don't have a problem with someone having a different opinion than me but seriously man stick to it! I remember how he kept saying that giving out points half way through a race was the dumbest thing ever. And how putting dirt on Bristol was a bad idea the 1st time that's why it won't happen again..... Now "Everything nascar is doing is great!"

Tune in now to hear Mike Bagley kiss Dale Jr.'s ass. Unbelievable. Dale is countering all of the good vibes from last night crying for exclusivity and going back to the oval....and Bagley smooches up after singing the praises of last night's race all morning. Love Junior's authenticity...hate the smooching.

WTF?! ....Actual question from Bagley to Junior...."Do you reminisce about that day 20 years ago when we lost your Dad?" He. Actually. Asked. That. What a damn idiot. I cannot believe he asked Junior that.

More pathetic stuff from the station....Claire B. Lang interviewing Bowman, and he referenced Rowdy. It was clear that she didn't know what the hell he was talking about, and her producers filled her ear. Then. she tries to elegantly fold that tragedy into the subsequent interview with Greg Ives. Awkward, embarrassing, and unprofessional. Horrid. Couple that with the question that Bagley asked Junior....and I am wondering why the hell they can't find more Brad Gille talent.

She has been around for a long time. Back in the late 90's and early 2000's I enjoyed hearing her interviews usually on the radio. Back then you it seemed you would see her everywhere working her tail off. Guess everything changes.

She still works her tail off but she’s just terrible. Like she‘s just asking questions to ask questions. Her show is usually filled with nothing. Have to give her credit, she always in the think of it it seems.

Not sure where to put this, so I will put it here.....Truex's former spotter, Clayton Hughes--now the spotter for 500 Chap McDowell--said on Gille's show last night that he was miserable at JGR. Pearn.....and now Clayton...... I know that I am fueling @StandOnIt fire, but in the interest of full disclosure as they say.....

I picked that up too. Seemed odd to me. I have no idea how the spotters are employed, but I was under the assumption that they didn't play an active role in the team back at the shop? Thought they just showed up at the track and really only dealt with the driver?

I think the 78 team's culture was the little guy against the world. Makes sense. The security of becoming a big guy was inconsistent with the DNA of that team. Maybe the same thing with Leavine. A tweet by Bob said that he was wiling to pay what Barney wasn't. I do believe that the DNA of 23XI is different. MJ is not a little guy. We shall see.....

I wonder how it would go over with MJ if there is another situation or something similar to "because your driver ran into ours after we had asked you to lay down and let OUR driver lead the race, we are going to take your pit crew away because we didn't like the way they behaved."

Betcha it would be handled differently....Bob and Barney aren't MJ. Lots of eyes on this.

It won’t come up.

Hughes went on with Claire...I missed the interview....so I will get it On Demand, but what I could surmise from the conversation was a few things...1) Cole was the glue, and he left, 2) Martin did not want him in his ear telling him to block because he didn't consider himself that kind of driver, 3) Management backed Martin's request, 4) Clayton felt that he was put in a position to lose because he knew what the other spotters were telling their drivers, and from the previous interview....5) He hated going from a team of 60ish to 600ish.

You’re surprised the 78 guys aren’t adapting or happy with JGR? I’m not. Those guys loved the low key setting of Colorado and being on the island.
