Considering they haven't made a street version yet, much less have tried to get anything approved for 2019..ya think? That's hardly a firm denial though.

For NASCAR? We don't know that yet. Hell, up until the reveal last August the general consensus here and elsewhere was that Chevy was going to race the Malibu this year. We don't know **** about ****.much less have tried to get anything approved for 2019
yeah ya got that right. It is supposed to be a long process, but neither of those two were very long. Wilson could be snookering us. I'm getting to not believe a thing any of them say. Childers..honestly a brace failed blah blah blah. Larson, oh the car is brittle. snort. We just love Matt, on and on.
Running a new body a year ahead of production would be nothing new. In addition to the 2018 Camry being run in 2017, the 2010 Fusion was run in 2009 (although being the COT it was probably just different stickers), and the 2014 Chevy SS didn't hit showrooms until Fall 2013 but it was run in Cup the entire 2013 season.
Yeah, this looks terrible in the Xfinity template lol.
I like the look of it, can't wait to see Rowdy spin one across Blake Koch’s front bumper
The Camaro has door handle decals.NASCAR needs a new Xfinity body anyways. Toyota should have waited until the next gen Xfinity body. Mustang and Camaro look nothing like their street counter parts.
Fits right in with its competitors.Damn thats an ugly racecar
They’re being beaten regularly by their competitors in the B series.
When did working to be better become a negative thing? You sometimes appear unaware of basic automobile racing concepts.
I am?you are saying it is a negative thing bud, I'm seeing a pattern
Yep just another different front end..yawnAnother day, another front end for the Yoters.
I am?
Call it whatever you like. It’s what manufacturers and teams do to get better. Perhaps you’re a regionalist.
So what's the big deal about this? Isn't the Supra a joint venture with BMW, essentially it is a BMW with a Toyota badge and looks nothing like the stock version. When NASCAR starts going back to more stock bodies with true distinctions between the brands, that's when fans will come back. Another gimmick by NASCAR, there's nothing special about this, just something for Ford and Chevy to bitch about.I am?

Just saying...this is no big deal, all 3 brands change their noses a miniscule amount and everyone goes Gaga... seriously?not biting on that same old ancient song, it has all the flavor chewed out of it.
I see a pattern ... continuous improvement. Fundamental racing thought process. To paint a group that does that as objects of ridicule doesn't make sense, particularly when their competitors do the same thing.ok I will, looks like a pattern to me, something that nobody else is doing in the series, you can call it whatever you want. but watch the name calling with me.
This has nothing to do with the current discussion. So what's the big deal about this? Of course it doesThis has nothing to do with the current discussion.
I fail to see this being a big deal. Camaro comes in small difference in front end, Mustang comes in, small difference in front end. This is all about tweaking the nose, if anyone thinks these cars resemble anything of the original car...they don't.Toyota has a new NASCAR body and it's sorta Supra-shaped
While not the most graceful shape in the world of racing, the new Supra NASCAR gives us hope that Toyota is getting serious about performance once again.

Holy Crap The Toyota Supra Is Going To Run In NASCAR
will the real Supra look anything like the Xfinity one?
The production Supra is scheduled to be finally revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed next week, according to the Toyota Europe Twitter account.

Regionalist is a generic descriptive term ... not name calling. It has many proponents and whether or not they're right or wrong is a matter of opinion.
Exactly...same old shiitI see a pattern also, continually designing a car specifically to race in the series almost every year for the last 4 years. Some will say just wonderful, and some will laugh their asses off when Nascar makes adjustments to even things up...again
