Talladega RACE thread

The part was right in the middle of the track, I don't see why they shouldn't have thrown the yellow. The spin happened before hand but if NASCAR threw that yellow everyone still would complain and say it was no reason for it.
 
Congrats to Denny he deserves it, just wish biffle would've had a shot
 
Did anyone NOT pay attention there? There were car parts literally laying in the middle of the front stretch. There HAS to be a caution for that. Anti-climactic yes, but don't get your panties all in a bunch.
 
Looks like they gave biffle et al enough time to make a move if they were going to then threw the yellow. Seemed legit to me.
 
Good to see Dale Jr doing all he could to win the race because of the new point system.

I'm sure the fact that he has a win wasn't a factor in him riding around in the back near the end of the race.

I'd love if that was the rule, but sadly it's not. The caution had to come out.

They wrecked way before they took the white. That's the problem.

I think Hamlin had the win regardless. Maybe not the ideal way to finish, but it is what it is.

And the caution didn't initially come out for that. The caution didn't come out until they were on the back stretch, and, again, there were parts laying in the middle of the track.

Although I agree with u about Talladega, many "people" still love this sport. I didn't see an empty seat in the joint? It's my least favorite race on the circuit though...

Plus, the flag man already had the flag in his hand when they started wrecking. Nothing you can do about that.
