Texas RACE thread

Are they allowed to put new tires on before they measure spoiler height and such? Looks like he shredded the left rear.

Chad K must have gotten off the radio and headed to v. lane....he wasn't there to tell JJ which way to turn to get to Victory Lane :whoopee:

Jamie: "it was along 500 miles."
Joey: "ha... it always is here at Texas."

JJ and Carl show what being in shape does for a driver. They always look fresh after these long runs, while some others look ready to fall over.

Reminds me of Hamlin that one time. Nearly fainted.

that was quite the performance from jimmie and the 48 team..... still not over yet though

Can Ray still play crew chief? Or is the new tech far too advanced for him?

I think he was one of the crew chiefs that was good at figuring out and keeping up with technology. I don't believe it'd take him long to get it back.
He and Jeff just had good chemistry. The competition today is so fierce that chemistry plays a critical part.
JMO.

LOL the Rick Hendrick interview with the celebration going on in the background was hilarious.

New tech? You mean fuel injection? I think Ray Evernham can handle it.

Setups and stuff.

I think he's been away for too long to keep up with all the going ons a crew chief has to deal with.

If could still do it he wouldn't be in the tv booth.

Pretty happy with my drivers performance today with exception of the speeding penalty. Kyle gave it all he had........ I cant ask for more then that :)

No matter who the winner is, it's always a boring race when one driver dominates.
