That was a very unkind comment. You may be lucky enough to live that long and others like myself that are there don't find you very funny. Actually it is quite pathetic. How about when they wheeled in Ken Squire and Ned Jarrett for the second stage. I think Dale was there to wipe their chins. I'm surprised they didn't start wondering where that youngster Morgan Shepherd got to.
Have some respect for people that paved the way for what you're watching on TV now.How about when they wheeled in Ken Squire and Ned Jarrett for the second stage. I think Dale was there to wipe their chins. I'm surprised they didn't start wondering where that youngster Morgan Shepherd got to.
I enjoy Diffey when he did the occasional Xfinity race and when he did Watkins Glen this year. Didnt like him at first because I preferred Bob Varsha for F1 but Diffey's style has really grown on me. He's the best right now in motorsports Id wager to say. It's an Australian dude. And Leigh Diffey does F1 and Indy and occasionally some other sports, so he cannot be in two places at once.
Only watched 20 minutes yesterday and at least 15 minutes were the 3 Dunderheads talking about "The four drivers being eliminated next week", with Steve's voice getting HIGHER AND HIGHER!!
Get rid of all 3 please
I learned it was possible to watch a race with the sound off and be just fine with it. Thanks NBCSN, Jabba, Letard, and AROUND GOES!. Didn't need any aspirin for a headache this week.
No volume? What about the sound of the cars? Couldn't do it, Letarte and Burton can get pretty annoying at times but I've got to hear the cars. Rick Allen is one of the greatest announcers in NASCAR though.
What????? Are you Rick Allen or related to him?

I never thought I would miss Darrell Waltrip.
I can't use any of them myself, I have the computer turned on to Nascar's and Fox's leaderboards. I watch them during the commercial fests. As it is now the sound is turned down to almost nothing, if I see something I don't know what is going on like a penalty I turn it up but that is it. Can't wait for Fox next year. Gordon continues to get better. NBCSN has no experience in the booth and it shows.Problem is that god awful leaderboard they have this year. One race, I think it was seven minutes before I saw who was leading. Simply unacceptable. The commentary has driven me nuts too, mainly the bias towards one driver.
I never thought I would miss Darrell Waltrip.
There is always MRN. I have done that more than a couple of times. No volume? What about the sound of the cars? Couldn't do it, Letarte and Burton can get pretty annoying at times but I've got to hear the cars. Rick Allen is one of the greatest announcers in NASCAR though.

Closest station is over 100 miles away. May try streaming if I can find one. There is always MRN. I have done that more than a couple of times.
it is time delayed is the problem I have with it. The announcing which used to be ok? when it was all I could get, is so much better than NBCSNClosest station is over 100 miles away. May try streaming if I can find one.
I’ll never understand why SiriusXM is often delayed by as much as 3 minutes, yet the the video streaming services(dish anywhere, nbc sports, and fox sports go) are nearly live to never more than 20 seconds behind.it is time delayed is the problem I have with it. The announcing which used to be ok? when it was all I could get, is so much better than NBCSN
Hmmmm, would a put a buck on it was Daytona. I guess it make sense since
80% of the drivers and teams live in the area.
Daytona is the home of Nascar.... but... Charlotte is the home of the drivers....
I also think a few other journalists had a rough day. This is a part of NASCAR nation I am just really
sickened with. I have heard identical stories now in every victory lane that MTJ has been in this year.
Voda goes above and beyond to pull tears out of the guy. The more over sensationalized drama
and emotion these reporters can work into the story the better must be their mantra. But its my fault,
I kept watching and did not turn it off. They have no concept of a diminishing return on reporting stories
into the ground. Important story, yes, for the first and or second victory lane. After that, just leave it with a
"good luck and give her our best" the following victory lanes. If she is present, give
her a "great to see you!" Instead of rehashing the complete story from click to clunk. Before you chuck a rock at me
for my opinion, just know I come from experience, I lost my Dad to cancer in 1974 as a 13 yr old son. Yet my
family's experiences of living that is no different than what millions of humans go through daily. I feel
profoundly bad for all of those who are suffering with any sickness in quiet desperation and don't
have foundations named on their behalf. The Press just needs to give some of these sensitive stories
a rest sometimes, especially, in a jubilant victory lane.
Krista's questions sounded like they came from one the brilliant directors mouth to me. Prefaced the questions by saying that because they were on another channel, some viewers might not know the story? I thought that wasn't something she would come up with. She doesn't have a history of that IMO
IDK what the story is as I don't keep up with the personal lives of drivers but whatever the issue was it turned people off.
The track sound was extremely loud but at times you could barely hear the commentators, if at all.
