Tony Stewart running over someone?

here is another thought, what is this going to do with other drivers retaliating against each other. I predict we don't see it anymore, AND nascar will come down hard on it. remember when brad got flipped by carl, what if brad had gotten hurt bad or worse yet killed. Nascar will not put up with drivers being aggresive anymore like that. which IMO takes away from the sport. YES this is going to change the sport. nascar will react to it just like that did after richmond last year. Drivers actions after a wreck will be the focus.

wrecking someone on the track and running at a fellow competitor's car on foot is a bit different. Their really should be no place for that in the sport. Rip into the guy that wrecked you in the interview.

NASCAR will enforce not climbing out of the car to walk within spitting distance of moving race cars just to flip the bird. I think aggressiveness while under green will still be there.

What do you think Tony was trying to do?
Was he trying to spray him with dirt? Or just scare him?
Multiple witnesses say he gunned it right as he was passing him.

Police Report

Oh, showed, they had to jump back to the super important Cleveland Browns... Wow hell of a Segway guys....

NASCAR needs to adopt a rule that bans people from walking onto the track for ANY reason from green to checkered. When you wreck, you can walk from car to ambulance and that's it. Any other move and you're suspended.
Brian probably just snorted a line as him and Helton write that into the new rule

That police report is very friendly to Stewart. Stewart's lawyers are no doubt happy to read that.

For the family's sake I hope all ESPN & other news networks do is offer a moment of silence & move on. Dont show that video & dont spend so much time on his death just hours afterwards. Give the family some breathing room.

The report reads like they just got eyewitness accounts and no video.
Because the didnt see any video yet, explains why they are asking this

I think we can officially put the helmet/pads/whatever the hell tossing days to rest. This will never be allowed to occur in a NASCAR sanctioned event as long as the sport is in existence.

Maybe NASCAR will give drivers high powered slingshots & they can launch lugnuts from their haulers

I think that is the one thing that we can all agree on.

All they need to do is turn on ESPN

Too late for that.

ESPN won't show a replay of a basketball injury "out of respect" but they sure as ********** can air video of a fatality at an automobile race.

The video is on the top of NASCAR's BR team stream page. Disgusting .

Yeah a total joke. And then immediately afterwards they jump back into preseason football talk like nothing happened.

Witness are saying he got sucked under the wheel. I don't think I understand how that happens.

I predict the media will go with a "road rage" angle on this. Media likes road rage stories anyway. This will be the ultimate road rage story with a champion Nascar driver getting a young kid killed. Media is gonna eat this up.

They should just go down on the field and suck Johnny Manziel's **** and get it over with already. This verbal blow job is nauseating.

They are going to sh!t on us....

I think he was trying to avoid him...but he couldn't. I hope someone has a better video that will clear this up. Even the car in front of Tony had to swerve to keep from hitting the kid.

Right? He completed a few passes and ran 25 yards down the field against a bunch of 3rd stringers. Who gives a ****? And the ONLY coverage they show of this is an extremely horrendous video.

I can't get this off my mind.. I'm gonna be really tired tomorrow.

Yeah. I've been trying to sleep. Thinking about what is going through everyone involved minds' right now... Keep looking at my damn phone. Not healthy.
