Shut the **** up man. You get the same information at the same speed as the rest of us. You are no better than any of us here. Real reporters get news as it happens & send it to social media.
 
Mark my words, this the beginning of the end of Tony Stewart's career.

This is comparable to Ray Lewis going to the sidelines during the game and intentionally piledriving a guy on the opposing team who wasn't wearing a helmet.

This isn't an "off field" legal issue with a lot of ambiguity.

Real reporters shut the **** up and gather facts until they have the facts instead of making **** up or running the first rumor they hear #confirmed as BREAKING NEWS. I'll bite, goddamnit.
 
SO CAN ANYONE CONFIRM IF THIS KID IS ALIVE? I've heard so many mixed reports it's distrubing. And if he is alive, I have some posts to delete.

None of us here are reporters so thank god we can discuss & speculate all we want. We're all sitting on our asses doing the same thing waiting for a press release. None of us are at the scene asking questions.

Have to agree with that. NASCAR dropped the hammer on KyBu for bumping another vehicle. This is about 100x worse. Even if the kid (hopefully) survives, the reports about "dragging him along for 25 feet" are pretty f'ing serious.

Multiple different sources are reporting the kid was dragged 25 feet under Stewart's car. Police are involved. I like Smoke (or I did), but get your head out of your ass. There's no way you can spin this that he didn't do at least something screwed up.

Come on! Do you really think it's a good idea to put Tony in a car while this is being investigated? If it comes out that he did it on purpose then NASCAR let a possible murderer race. If it comes out it was an accident but Tony was reckless then NASCAR let an extremely careless driver race.

i can't see no way Tony can make it out of this........i thought it and maybe said it out loud even, that someday someone was going to get killed from this very thing. and Stewart was one of the handful that i thought would do it.

Well hell, I've heard multiple sources say he was spat out BACKWARDS from UNDER the right rear...


Edit: nvm, dragged then spat... What an ugly situation..

Did I say it was a good idea?, no, I just said I want to hear all the facts first .

Of course I dont think he should be racing tomorrow if he "in fact" did it on purpose.

Ok now dont act like Tony is an amateur driver due to 1 incident where 0 stories here are solid. He's still a 3 time champ & an incredible race car driver but no human is perfect behind the wheel.

The truth doesn't matter. The media will hang NASCAR out to dry if they let a driver race almost 12 hours after he hit a free standing person on the race track.

I don't think he should race if he did it by accident either. You are responsible for your car. You hit a person and at least caused serious injury you need to be held accountable and you certainly shouldn't be racing the next day.

Stewart won't race. They parked KyBu for hitting another car under caution. Missing tomorrow's (today's?) race is the least punishment Stewart can hope for.

That's and a car one day blowing up are the things I always have worried about happening.

Kevin came after him on the track (reportedly). If he lunged out for stewart & tony attempted to get away & as a result took kevin with him - thats not exactly tony's fault?

Youre always told as a kid not to play in the road. You'd think people would have the brains not to approach a moving race car on track. What about the safety crews? Are they not responsible to keep drivers from walking back out onto the track & doing stupid **** like this (if its true)?

Fault or not, one doesn't come back from this and compete in a cup race within 15 hours....
