and we're done.Not the devices specifically, but the continuous requirements related to taking out even the perception of danger...in what used to be considered a dangerous sport. It was always a sport where adrenalin rose to the level of being able to overcome ones own timidity, to push the envelope of self preservation. By cocooning the participants into a bubble of complete safety, takes away that small difference that makes a Curtis Turner, a Dale Earnhardt Sr, a David Pearson, and such.
