I know that you probably explained it before , but could you tell again the purpose of the bench or alternates. When would they be used ? If one of your picks exceeds the 9 race limit ,would an alternate automatically be used by the computor ?Is there another case when an alternate would be used?

Just make sure to save Kyle for the Chase, he's good when it comes to the last 10 races!!!!
That is an excellent point MOEJOE! Thanks for mentioning that. Personally I think that everyone that plays this game should heed your advice.

Each week you'll have a total of eight drivers selected. Half will be on your 'Bench' side and the other listed under your 'Starters'. Any time before the race deadline, you can move your bench driver(s) over to the starter side. You may want to do this should one of the starters not qualify so well and your bench driver is sitting on the pole. You may want to do this just because after initially making your picks, you fell better about running one of your bench drivers rather than a starter.

No, a bench driver will not be automatically moved from that position in the event of one of your drivers exceeds the 9 race limit. Like someone said earlier..... You are not locked into any of these guys from week to week. You can swap out any one or all drivers prior to the qualifying deadline for a given race week. I usually pick eight new drivers for each and ever week unless I feel one or two of them are good at the upcoming race. I hope I've explained this well enough and have not added to any confusion. If not, let me know and I'll try harder.

Kyle NOT THAT GOOD IN CHASE

I just figured out if you're playing in two different groups you have to use the same drivers for both.

Yep, if you use a different e-mail addy you can run seperate teams say using your private e-mail and your  work e-mail.

hmmmm, I was wondering why our "Greatest Driver" voting became so unusual towards the end.

I just looked back at that greatest driver contest. Petty beat Sr, but the finals were Sr vs Pearson? Did someone really mess with the Petty vote and that got him disqualified? If so, it would be interesting to know whose IP it was.

It's too bad we couldn't get some sort of "RACING FORUMS SPONSOR" to put up some sort of prize for the podium takers come the end of the chase for us folks who are in The League.

So, does anybody own a company that produces plasma cutters, or CNC machines? Those would make great prizes. :)

I'll be more than satisfied when you simply bow down to my greatness at the end of the season. :p
