College Football 2018

Wow, I'm not sure how I missed this thread!

Hopefully my Gators can take care of business against F$U tomorrow. I absolutely despise Florida State with a passion. I think Florida should win easily, but then again, it's hard to feel confident when your QB is as terrible as Feleipe Franks.

Oklahoma and WVU are putting on a show tonight

The Gators and Seminoles both played like a couple of middle school teams..

I knew we would lose this game. Didn't think it would be an ass whooping. Not even a rivalry anymore.
I never saw it coming. This was the first time in a while that I was legitimately thought that OSU had no shot against Michigan. Hopefully they won’t screw up and lose to Northwestern now, the Buckeyes have been playing down to their competition all year.

6-5 BYU. 8-3 Utah. Utes come back to take lead from down 27-7. Stadium is about to come to the ground. I love this stupid sport.

Looks like for Ohio State to make the CFP, they’ll have to beat NW and will also need Alabama to beat Georgia and Texas to beat Oklahoma. I think Alabama gets in over OSU even without a conference championship, and they’d likely take OU over OSU as well if they win the Big 12. The Buckeyes would get in over two-loss Georgia and Oklahoma teams though provided they beat NW.

Lets just give the Championship to Bama, you know they are going to win.

I think OU/OSU might be the closest argument ever at #4 should they both win. Ohio State smashing Michigan would probably be the best win between the two, but a massive defeat to Purdue would be hard to overcome and Oklahoma will have beaten every team they've played this year.

I think the Purdue loss keeps Ohio State out if they and Oklahoma both win, similar to the way their 55-24 loss to Iowa kept them out last year. OSU was a two-loss team last year though.

Yep, born and raised there.

Something I just learned, and I can't believe I didn't know this, Fromm had actually committed to Alabama before switching to Georgia.

Better contract there? ;)
Fromm is from Georgia. When Mark Richt got fired he switched back to Georgia. If Mark Richt was still coaching he would be at Alabama. Thank God Richt got fired from Georgia

Lots of Miami fans down here not happy with the bolded right now.

Virginia trying to beat Virginia Tech for the first time since 2003! This is a good game.
It took a minor miracle of luck for Virginia Tech to win that game and extend the rivalry streak to 15 years. Virginia Tech is having their worst season in a long, long time. I'm a Tech alum, and this year has been no fun!

My brother, who is an avid fan of UVa sports, was texting trash talk to me during the game as UVa surged ahead. I thought Tech would lose, so I was texting back that I didn't even know they were playing... and didn't care either... told him that I had NEVER cared about VT football... all kinds of ridiculous sh!t like that. The truth is, he knows I am an avid fan of VT football.

So then Virginia Tech gets lucky in overtime, wins the game, and I can't even crow about it to my brother. LOL.

OU gets their Red River Revenge and are looking pretty good for the fourth playoff spot.

The committee has already begun crafting a statement on as to why Alabama got in over Oklahoma and Ohio State for tomorrow.

If Alabama loses by less than two touchdowns, the committee will put them in.

It’d be pretty sh*tty to put them in over one-loss conference champion Oklahoma. I think OU winning today knocks Ohio State out, but today Oklahoma beat the only team they lost to.
