SILLY SEASON 2019

Busch is running the "V-lit" scheme at the All-Star Race... NASCAR is embracing the memes:

Needs to be updated, but okay then. I like Busch sticking to their word.

I vaguely remember not understanding the significance of this scheme when it was first shown last year.

Why a different team?

I like Almirola a good amount too, no idea what he was talking about at Texas though, I'll give him a pass on that one.

Good question, I have just never been a big SHR fan. But like Ford Racing said, he is definitely racing his best yet and that likely wouldnt be the case if he wasnt with this team.

Memes for the kids and big kids like myself. Its primarily the Generation Z that uses all of this stuff, but they toss millenials in the same pot.
So Busch is paying for a bunch of bits and pieces that mean something to people more active on social media than I am?

The morons over at Reddit seem to love this crap I personally think it's the ugliest car I've ever seen including that pink Kyle Busch car but I'm more traditional than that generation for sure.

Its interesting to say the least, I just like the fact Busch was serious about running the scheme. I thought it was a joke, but they kept their word.

A meme a day keeps the doctor away.

Young Burton all sponsored up, they sponsored his dad a bunch over the years.

Yeah Reddit typically has the quickest posts of anything out there. Otherwise follow guys like Gluck on twitter etc. But I usually check reddit because it's the easiest...even though that community of fans is really something else lol

Yeah some of the guys that thinks Nascar gets roasted here need to visit Reddit. No mercy at that joint!

I have been a member there for a long time, it's not name calling, sorry if you took offense, I thought you thought of yourself as a concerned fan. What you do here (for the good of the sport) wouldn't work over there for long, besides it is a different format, catering to a different fan. I never have been able to understand why they allow the F bombs though.

Not sure where the concerned fan came from as I don’t feel concerned but I am interested. IDK what the good of the series stuff is but that is ok.

Big difference where Bayne/Kenseth ran compared to the likes of JJ or Elliott. Advocare signed a "multi-year" enxtension with Bayne back in '16. His contract would have expired this year:

So Advocare ended the deal after Bayne's last races last year. Bayne was the only reason why Advocare was there at Roush.

I appreciate the info and the easiest thing for them to have done would have been to leave Nascar entirely. Even though they are not in it with big bucks at the moment that could change in the future.

Hendrick Motorsports has been busy

AdvoCare is Hendrick Motorsports’ 18th new partner or partnership renewal since January 2018.

It has been my opinion for a long time that with the possible exception of Penske, NOBODY understands the art of putting motorsports sponsorship deals together like the Hendrick people. Yes, they whiff once in a while, but more often than not, they get those sponsors.

Kinda helps that they have hundreds of suppliers that they can put the grip on ya think? It is kinda to the point where they can say we'll quit racing when we say we want to. :D

It will be a pretty good indicator about how bad or good what Roush has left to work with. Can Newman match his numbers he had with RCR. Kenseth was kind of all over the place, Stenhouse also.

They have no other choice but to improve. No feeder program, so all the focus can go to the Cup series.
