2016/17 Fall Winter Weather Thread

Second earthquake felt in just a few days. Again, it's no big deal to people in earthquake prone areas, but I just don't expect to feel them here in Kansas. I guess I should get use to it.

It's cold and dark too early. Total bull****.

Haven't felt an earthquake in forever.. Kinda miss it. Kinda don't.

Calling for a couple inches of snow here on Sunday. Can't complain too much. It's almost December.

Yesterday was a weird morning. We were @ 27 degrees with a heavy fog. Fog and cold are not a good combination. While the ground/roads were too warm for the ice that was formed to lay, my Jeep was getting covered with a heavy crust of ice making for a less than desirable driving experience. Windshield wipers getting clogged and the limited visibility of the dense fog made for a horrible commute.

That doesn't sound like fun. At least it's almost over. Oh wait..... :D
Drive safe. :)

What's really weird is that it's 69 degrees out there right now with snow expected Sunday. November..... Go figure. o_O
Very weird indeed.
I live in such a tiny place surrounded by ocean that those extremes are impossible.

28 degrees and a fresh dusting of snow this morning. The ground is still too warm to let it last to long.

Yesterday and today, it's been freezing out here, in the 30s.

Took Elvira out to pee earlier, she took her jolly old time and I froze. No shoes, no coat. Won't be doing that again.

The weather here is super unpredictable during the fall/winter and winter/spring transitions. Biggest swing I can remember was 80F one day, and 35F and snowing the next. Yesterday was 70, and today it's snowed all day. At least 10 inches so far.

Thursday was a Chamber of Commerce day. Yesterday and today --- Mother Nature must be in a crappy mood. Not cold, but not
a speck of sunshine has been seen. Heavy, grey clouds --- the kind of weather for an old movie binge, or a good book.

Finally seeing some snow in the forecast hear in Wichita for the weekend. Doesn't look like a lot, but I'm excited regardless.

It's quite cold here (around -5 degrees throughout the day), but we still didn't have any snow this winter.
The forecast says it may be snowing tomorrow evening.
I remember last year, when we had around +15 degrees nearly the whole december and only got one week of winter weather in the whole winter. In the mid of January we had -20 degrees and around 30-50 centimetres of snow.

Note that I'm talking about degrees celsius.

86 here yesterday and 76 last night. The usual crazy Florida weather.

Are you seriously in Germany? Military?

I envy you guys with snow. No lawn to mow.
I already worked 4am til 1pm and here I am now mowing and bolding up a sweat.
Thank God for beer.
