That reminds me of a street near my childhood home in the Heights, in Houston. Glorious old oaks that formed a tunnel.
Good memories.
Good memories.
Second earthquake felt in just a few days. Again, it's no big deal to people in earthquake prone areas, but I just don't expect to feel them here in Kansas. I guess I should get use to it.
That doesn't sound like fun. At least it's almost over. Oh wait.....Calling for a couple inches of snow here on Sunday. Can't complain too much. It's almost December.
Yesterday was a weird morning. We were @ 27 degrees with a heavy fog. Fog and cold are not a good combination. While the ground/roads were too warm for the ice that was formed to lay, my Jeep was getting covered with a heavy crust of ice making for a less than desirable driving experience. Windshield wipers getting clogged and the limited visibility of the dense fog made for a horrible commute.
What's really weird is that it's 69 degrees out there right now with snow expected Sunday. November..... Go figure. That doesn't sound like fun. At least it's almost over. Oh wait.....
Drive safe.
Very weird indeed. What's really weird is that it's 69 degrees out there right now with snow expected Sunday. November..... Go figure.
My current forecast.....Very weird indeed.
I live in such a tiny place surrounded by ocean that those extremes are impossible.
Wow!
The weather here is super unpredictable during the fall/winter and winter/spring transitions. Biggest swing I can remember was 80F one day, and 35F and snowing the next. Yesterday was 70, and today it's snowed all day. At least 10 inches so far.Wow!
This was my day.

Are you seriously in Germany? Military? It's quite cold here (around -5 degrees throughout the day), but we still didn't have any snow this winter.
The forecast says it may be snowing tomorrow evening.
I remember last year, when we had around +15 degrees nearly the whole december and only got one week of winter weather in the whole winter. In the mid of January we had -20 degrees and around 30-50 centimetres of snow.
Note that I'm talking about degrees celsius.
Yes, I am in Germany. Are you seriously in Germany?
No.Military?
