We always plan ahead in case of rain. For the Coke 600 we'll be in Charlotte until Wednesday morning going to the HOF, the race shops and do other things. The following week in Dover we'll stay and look around until Tuesday morning. We also have a buffer zone to stay longer if necessary. The perks of traveling with an RV.

I'm thinking bout calling out.. I'm not feeling to good anyways Only problem I don't get sick days..

I know lol.. I'm not feeling to good anyways plus I just love the sport and BRISTOL!! I started watching NASCAR last year.. I been to Charlotte twice Bristol once , MARTINSVILLE twice and Daytona this year I can't get enough of it.. I'm just mad at myself for taking this long getting into the sport .. I always just thought it's just a bunch of cars going around in a circle boy was I dumb

You must work at a more interested place than I did.
I worked at Ford and only about 1% of my coworkers had any interest in racing or even cars.
We could have been making washing machines for all their interest.:eek2:
 
By the way I found the Indy cars on nbcsp.

I like your enthusiasm..... it's in short supply these days.... Folks like you are what it's going to take to keep the ship afloat.


My enthusiasm has almost dropped to zero..... so....... it's really good to see you step up to take my place.... :cheers:

Oh....... I still follow it.... just not with the zeal that used to be there..... My weekends are not planned around it now.... I started following it in 1964..... just too many changes ...... too many rules..... too much like IROC....... maybe after all these years...... I'm just tired.....

But..... I do really enjoy seeing new folks like you being really wrapped up in it...... :)
 
Mine is short this year, too. In comparison to precious years, it's low. I still love Nascar, I still love Kurt but...this has been a low time for me and it's carried over to Nascar.

I think it shows how a lot of the fans think with the attendance and T.V. ratings...... I'm not saying the racing isn't good..... It just doesn't interest me like it used to......

Yeah....... you had a really bad year Lisa.......... it's hard to recover from that.... you never will recover completely...... but I hope you can regroup and move on......

In Lou we trust. The Leafs have a good management team, coaches and some young and up and coming players so hopefully it all works out.

I really hope 2017 is a much better year for you Lisa and life starts treating you better.
 
I'm glad the race was cancelled today. Had time to spend outside in some gorgeous weather and catch up with a few friends. Would not mind one bit if there were no Sunday day races from April-September.

I was thinking when I retire I would travel to every race that's if I can get the wife talked into it.
