Would be really entertaining if this spawned a Menard vs JJ feud
Pretty sure the two of them had a run in at a plate track last year as well

I dont know how many people were there, you took the numbers from someone elses post. It was an exibition race and I would imagine a couple million watched it on TV. Nobody really cares what you think, its obvious to all that you are an antagonist.
It’s not relevant to anything, why are you even coming up with a number for attendance for an exhibition race that’s not even a full field. Not sure what the issue is as I thought more than 5000 would attend. Is there something wrong with thinking that?
Don’t give anyone any ideas lmao. Ugh.how did ya count em when you didn't watch the race?..asking for a friend. Man on the street told ya? this is the racing thread Why don't you start a seating thread little guy.
Critical thinking is why Runt Gordon shouldn’t be in the Booth.
I just did budSpeak for yourself
Hard to tell....Got @StandOnIt calling me a name, and then turning around referring to trolls. Alcohol may be a factor if I had to guess.
Half ass drivers? lol. ok. As for what you paid for a ticket, thats up to you. They had many tickets under 50 bucks, hell they have tickets for the 500 for 100 bucks! Compare that to a damn pro football game.I started going to that race 25 years ago. I'm 32 now.
That's fine if they watched on TV. There's less seats now and a lot less people in them, so I'm not sure what that has to do with anything. I wasn't really complaining about attendance as much as I was complaining about their asinine ticket, and even food prices for an exhibition event with half a field full of half-assing drivers.
Jeff Gordon should not be in the booth because he has a financial stake in Hendrick Motorsports, not because he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Who said they were still available.......budYou said there were 100 dollar tickets available for the race. I said I was surprised that tickets were still available for the race. With Daytona being billed as the Super Bowl of Nascar and the biggest event of the year I am surprised that race isn’t sold out yet. Don’t look for trouble where none exists and don’t be paranoid.
I paid $50 for a $120 ticket because I've been going there long enough to know that that is possible if you just wait. Some people don't know that and the track is taking advantage of those people by setting those crazy high prices. I have an issue with that when the product is subpar and watered down compared to their other events.Half ass drivers? lol. ok. As for what you paid for a ticket, thats up to you. Time to resurrect this gem

Ah yes, what you see here is the effects of JDS going full swing.
Who said they were still available.......bud
It is not next weekI asked a member who was at the race how many people he thought were in attendance. He said 5000 and it surprised me as I thought more people would have attended. What is the problem?
What was "watered down"?I paid $50 for a $120 ticket because I've been going there long enough to know that that is possible if you just wait. I wasn't talking about the 500. But as a comparison to your example, is the NFL charging $120 for a preseason game? Cause that's essentially what The Clash is. Except it lasts half as long.

Yeah I wasn’t expecting 40,000 or anything like that but I thought 15-20,000 would have been more like it.

Jimmie got a run. Menard came down to block. The air disturbed Menards car enough to turn him. It was a racing incident. Get over it.I like Jeff for the most part, but he was definitely bias on this incident imo. Avoiding blame on JJ it seemed.
I think it's as simple as Jimmie misjudged where Menard's left rear was going to be or got aero sucked into Menard's left rear, in either case Johnson has to take full blame for hooking the leader in the left rear and wiping out the field. I don't think Menard tried anything except holding his line, he doesn't come down until he's already hit in the left rear imo.
Just my take. Moving' on to the 500!

So, he has some sort of influence over the sanctioning body because he’s a TV analyst? That’s a stupid statement.Jeff Gordon should not be in the booth because he has a financial stake in Hendrick Motorsports, not because he doesn't know what he's talking about.
Most of the race was watered down. Literally
BobbyFord! I haven't been on this forum since the end of last season, and I gotta say I just chuckled seeing your username here.See above post.
you got that right......bud, youre notActually you were attempting to speak for others when you said " nobody" cares what the other poster thinks. Also the " its obvious to all" part suggests that you were speaking for more than just yourself. You don't speak for me when you say those things, I speak for myself. BTW . I am not yer bud
Thanks, I sincerely appreciate your post.BobbyFord! I haven't been on this forum since the end of last season, and I gotta say I just chuckled seeing your username here.

Why are we arguing about crowd sizes of an exhibition race?
Yikes man, yikes.
It's called THE CLASH for a reason.
It just didn't seem right watching Jimmy and Chad on different teams.
