and then Byron said that it’s going to be easier on drivers because it’ll be easier to corner at short tracks.Well, that does help check the "make them harder to drive!" box.

WHAT?!?!They were running 510 HP for the test
Can somebody splain how this works? Need to see it with master cylinders. Floor mounted MC always cause issues getting & keeping it bled.
Always and never ... two of my favorites.Floor mounted MC always cause issues getting & keeping it bled.
Me no like. Makes any pit road service impossible.
I own a pressure bleeder. Very familiar with that process. Remote reservoirs normally can't handle as much pressure for bleeding purposes. I'm sure these guys will figure it out thou. And last statement is exactly why I don't like this set-up. REQUIRES driver get out for most service.Always and never ... two of my favorites.
The system is pressurized by use of a bleeding device that attaches directly to the top of the fluid reservoir for that cylinder ... usually mounted on the firewall.
No mo “Pump it up and hold it”.
When the driver has to get out so you can work on the car, you’re probably not on pit road.
Do it yourself, Sterling. When the driver has to get out so you can work on the car, you’re probably not on pit road.

Why are you yelling? wink.AP figured it out for them.
They supply threaded caps that screw onto AP reservoirs. The caps include a hose that attaches to the bleeder. No leaks / more than enough pressure to get the job done. More of that NOT NEW TECHNOLOGY stuff.
General principles. Why are you yelling? wink.
Some people seem to have trouble comprehending the change. I will say...the pandemic saved their butt. Allowed a lot more time to figure things out.I've just assumed they'd use the next gen for everything in '22.
I've said it before if they don't its just admitting they failed in designing a new car that's capable of running every track on the schedule.I've just assumed they'd use the next gen for everything in '22.
I remember hearing about possibly using the Gen-6 cars for Bristol Dirt and the Clash.I've just assumed they'd use the next gen for everything in '22.
It's just that simple. They discussed racing the old car for the clash only because of car damage concern but the TEAM Owners decided to nix that along with Nascar wanting to run the new car everywhere.I've just assumed they'd use the next gen for everything in '22.
It makes no sense (to me) to require teams to keep two old cars around after November, esp lower tier teams with limited budgets or organizations like 23XI adding a new team.I remember hearing about possibly using the Gen-6 cars for Bristol Dirt and the Clash.
Things change all the time though, also it makes more sense to just use the NextGen for everything.
I hear they are looking into how to adapt the old cup cars into Xfinity cars. I don't know how many old cars there are but I wouldn't think it would be a huge amount, they have known for a couple of years of the switch. It makes no sense (to me) to require teams to keep two old cars around after November, esp lower tier teams with limited budgets or organizations like 23XI adding a new team.
Only if they still released chassis codes.Hundreds. Literally.
I like this idea better. The current Xfinity cars are great in my opinion.ARCA
where does it say that anywhere?what is crazy is teams only have one complete car for 4 drivers.not one each, just one car and not enough parts to finish a second one, i hope they are keeping alot of the old cars.

Do single-car teams have only 1/4 of a car?
Rub blocks, probably going to be hearing a lot more about them.
I think you missed the whole message of the tweet (it's info specifically about the new car) but that is ok.Even better news is that it seems like Advent Health is following Chastain to Trackhouse.
Rumors are Clover, Moose, and even McDonalds will supposedly follow Chastain to his new home. Wonderful news, if true.
Back to regularly scheduled programming of NextGen.
