59 Daytona 500 poles won by just 37 different individuals. The best of the best, the cream of the crop, the luckiest of the lucky and now Danica joins them. I say that's quite a accomplishment.

Jeff will be 42 yrs old in a few months . How many more years do you think he will stick around . I bet he thought about packing it in during that bad year ,last year. He's got new life now.

Usually when you bring up changing of the guard the two are some what comparable. You can't really compare Danica to Gordon just yet. Unless you are talking about her boyish good looks. :D

Perhaps Danica will take Jr's place, and Keselowski will take Gordons.

As far as it being mentioned. I just got done listening to her post qualifying press conference and it was mentioned there. I also just got done listening to SiriusXM NASCAR radio and they are talking about it there as well.

It's not Danica as much as it is the media. I mean, it's one thing for the ESPNs, NBC Sports Networks and CNNs of the world to focus exclusively on Danica. It's another when veteran NASCAR reporters ignore the rest of the field.

Courtney Force has won a few races and been in the finals a handful of times, Danica hasn't won squat. No hate there, simple facts.
