this is the first race after the cut off FWIW. I bet there are going to be some shaking up in the standings. Got the track bite deal going on too.

why that is the truck that KDB usually drives

Following @NASCAR_Trucks inspection, #NASCAR discovered improper air intake modifications on the No. 51 Pedigree Toyota piloted by third-place finisher Todd Gilliland. It was @ToddGilliland_ 's first top-five finish in the Camping World Truck Series. There were no trucks taken back to the R&D Center. Any penalties will be issued later next week. The No. 51 Kyle Busch Motorsports truck is currently second in the owner standings, 38 points behind Christopher Bell.

Cale Gale Returns to NASCAR Competition

While six drivers have their eye on making the Championship 4 over the next three races, another competitor will make his first series start since 2013. Cale Gale, who made just three starts during the 2013 season, was tapped last month to pilot the No. 99 Chevrolet for MDM Motorsports.
The start is a one-off for MDM Motorsports, which has fielded trucks for several drivers this year, including Brandon Jones, Timothy Peters and Darrell Wallace Jr., who won for the organization at Michigan International Speedway earlier this season. Despite that, Gale still looks forward to making the most of the opportunity.

“I was stunned when I was approached about this late last week,” Gale said in a Facebook post last month. “I want to thank my employer Roush Fenway Racing for allowing me to compete. I haven’t made a start in the Truck Series since the end of the 2013 season. I’m humbled and blessed beyond words.

Kevin Bellicourt, crew chief for driver Justin Haley and GMS Racing’s No. 24 Chevrolet was fined $5,000 and suspended from this weekend’s race at Phoenix. The team also lost 10 driver and team owner points.
Bellicourt was penalized after both the front and rear of the truck were too low in post-race inspection following last weekend’s race at Texas Motor Speedway. Haley finished fifth in the event.

In addition, Rudy Fugle, crew chief for driver Christopher Bell and Kyle Busch Motorsports’ No. 4 Toyota was fined $2,500 for one improperly secured lug nut.

Top 8 to 4 cut off point at Phoenix. Looks like 4th and 5th, Cindric and Rhodes are neck and neck, and the others above that need a clean race and a decent finish.

Qualifying at Phoenix. KDB trucks 1,2. Bell really fast on pole over almost 3 tenths faster. Bell's 4 truck 4 points ahead of 21 Sauter in the owner points race and 4 points ahead of Sauter in the points race.

Can you finally admit that Cindric has talent and is not just there because of Daddy Cindric?

:D
I think he's got talent but he's burning a lot of bridges that will come back to bite him. You don't drive like a wrecking ball and not expect the consequences of your actions to come pay you a visit. Hamlin found that out with Chase Elliott. :D
