I don't know that I consider JGR equipment superior to HMS, but that may just be me.
Hendrick caught up. Offseason development will be another fascinating storyline.

I definitely don't but that seemed to be the consensus around here last year was that they were so far ahead.
now you look sillyier notice all those drivers appear to be hispanic, and that is fine. he wants to promote them but lets just make very very clear a billionaire promoting drivers that are the same ethnicity as he is, is very different than toyota putting money, their own budgeted money toward someone they think it going to do well like eric jones.
He couldn't find any suitable candidates in Pakistan.now you look sillyier notice all those drivers appear to be hispanic, and that is fine. he wants to promote them but lets just make very very clear a billionaire promoting drivers that are the same ethnicity as he is, is very different than toyota putting money, their own budgeted money toward someone they think it going to do well like eric jones.
Wasn't there a fellow from India that ran a couple of X races on road courses last year?He couldn't find any suitable candidates in Pakistan.

Remember Pearl Harbor.I root for the first non-American manufacturer in NASCAR history. Trust me people....this will pass.

exactlyMy friends, some of these posts are getting into deep waters with the xenophobic posts.
I don't care what ethnicity the driver is --- if someone wants to put them behind the wheel for whatever reason, that is their business.
If they can't drive up to par, sooner or later they will be weeded out.
You said he was not in the racing business. :-/now you look sillyier notice all those drivers appear to be hispanic, and that is fine. he wants to promote them but lets just make very very clear a billionaire promoting drivers that are the same ethnicity as he is, is very different than toyota putting money, their own budgeted money toward someone they think it going to do well like eric jones.
Hendrick had 5 wins and JGR had 12 wins last year. You do the math. With my lifestyle, I could have retired happily on Ryan's signing bonus alone, much less all three years' salary.
"Time was when that would win you a championship," sez a fan of one driver who did it.

Hendrick had one competitive car, one car with a rookie, one sharing three drivers (one of whom was also a rookie), and the highly questionable #5 team. Independent of the hardware, JGR's stable is stronger. Stewart-Haas put both of its competitive drivers in the Chase in Hendrick equipment.Hendrick had 5 wins and JGR had 12 wins last year. You do the math.
Jaguar?
Dodge?Okay, the first that mattered.
Sterling Marlin too?I vote we put Suarez, Montoya & Ward in the TV booth for a day. Closed caption comedy right there.
B...b..bu...but CARLOS SLIM! This is all his doing! How could they have ever known!?Huh. Sounds like the other JGR teams didn't know until late in the process.
It's all a big plot to screw Eric Jones out of a Gibbs car!B...b..bu...but CARLOS SLIM! This is all his doing! How could they have ever known!?

It's possible that allenbaba is a sponsor contact or PR person. He said that so few people knew he couldn't risk revealing who the mystery retiree was because he would be too easy to pin down. so I'd guess he's in direct contact with Carl or Joe's reps on some level.I can't tell from Busch's quote whether he means he and his team found out from Joe Gibbs on Sunday before the announcement, or if he means he and the other drivers.
It is wild to me that allenbaba knew, and knew a lot about the process as it went on, and people inside the organization had no clue.
Daniel, well played, but you gotta learn what battles are worth fighting. Ignore the social media trolls; regardless of the language you choose, you can't fix stupid.
Hell, I don't even speak one very gooder.Considering I can speak one language and he can speak three.. I wouldn't say a word
At times it is noticeable.Hell, I don't even speak one very gooder.
He was quite safe, he didn't have to try to hold Joey back.So Carl Edwards quits, and in part cites a desire to maintain his health. Then, takes out the Toyota Land Speed Cruiser presented at SEMA and goes 230. 230 in a heavily modified prototype. Says a lot about his faith in TRD who did the work.
This story just gets weirder. I am going to assume that his PSA has not been terminated.

Carl is not driving,BUT he is still being held to certain parts of his contract. These are obligations that he already received payment for in the first year of this contract.
