College football 2023

Whelp Penn State is hanging in there on the back of some big 4th down conversions, Michigan having a TON of success running the football

Deion from a few weeks ago this is where I stand on the sign scouting deal, also Saban is on record saying every big program does this and everyone knows about it so I really don't get the treasure hunt over it. When you openly display your signals it's fair game imo.

Ohio State and Rutgers gave our signs to Purdue. Who cares lol everyone has everyone's signs.

This was such a horrible offensive gameplan for Michigan. If Harbaugh is suspended the next 2 games I think Mike Hart or Jay Harbaugh needs to be the interim HC

Right but Penn State wasn't going to win anyway. Unless you actually think we were going to give up a TD and a two point conversation. We've given up like 5 tds all year
They gave up any slim chance they had of winning.

I didn’t mean it as “they handed Michigan the win.”

We haven't thrown the ball once in the 2nd half and we have a Heisman candidate QB....what is Moore doing....this feels like a Lloyd Carr game from the early 2000s that we lose for no reason

Couldn't believe they didn't playaction rollout on some of the 3rd downs, would have been wide open in the flats or over the middle lol, Penn keying run the whole game after the 3rd & 11 run td can't say that I blame them.

Kinda smart to make Allar have to beat you, but also real conservative keeping them in the game.

They’re expanding the playoff explicitly to allow Penn State to lose their two or three biggest games each season and still pretend to be national title contenders in December.

I can't express enough how much I don't want this for college football, but let them get beat a 3rd or 4th time I guess

Everyone tries to “steal” signs but legally the methods to do so are via copies of the TV broadcast and the All-22 film. In-person scouting is what Michigan is getting investigated for and that’s been banned since 1994.

Fwiw I think the Big Ten panicked under pressure from the rest of the schools in the conference, they should’ve waited until the NCAA concludes their own investigation, which is reportedly being expedited.

The positive from this it’ll probably accelerate the introduction of headset communication and move into the 21st century along with the NFL. And then we won’t have this absurdity of each offense having three or four guys dressed up like the Wiggles relaying in signals from the sideline anymore.

Penix is gonna have to put up big points today on Utah, Husky defense is not looking too hot
Wow you’re not kidding. Not sure anyone else has made the Utah offense look this good this season.

Bipolar UCF up 24-0 on Oklahoma State and FSU/Miami tied at 10.

Not even USC lol, broken coverages all over the place, but Bryson Barnes is starting to get a little impressive in development deep ball was spot on

We’re still doing the “drop the ball just before the goal line” thing? I thought we’ve learned about that over the years. Ouch.

Another reason why I don’t understand college football. I always thought the top 25 was considered the best 25 teams in college football. However, I just saw Liberty University was 10-0 and wasn’t even ranked. Now I understand not everyone goes against the same teams and some teams have easier schedules than others. However, I find it hard to believe all those teams in the top 25 are better than LU. Is there some sort of algorithm that goes into the rankings or does someone just decide who they think the top 25 teams are? Again, I don’t follow college football (Too many teams to even keep track of), so I’m not exactly in the loop with how things work.
