well at least with the rain delay I got to remove the rest of the ice from the driveway.

It'll have to stop raining by about 8ish or I bet they'll call it. Track dried by 9:30, finish by midnight...doable, I think. But if it keeps coming from the gulf I'm sure they'll push it to tomorrow. Then again what do I know?

I'm impressed that they're still even trying to dry the track, to be honest. If this wasn't the Daytona 500 they'd have called it an hour ago. I still doubt we'll see any more racing tonight.

They say they try to get this in on the day its scheduled because so many people make such a big deal to come here.
 
If those are live pictures behind them, then it doesn't look too bad.

My therapist said that she would try to help me with that problem, she mumbled something about "there isnt any medications out there for that one" but she seems willing to help anyway :idunno: I think she may have been pretty 45 years ago

3rd time doing this... track looks soaked to me
 
There's a big clearing once this last little bit moves out...hopefully the stuff developing over the gulf stays north of the track. If that comes into the area it's all over. Weather.com "future" radar shows the system breaking up and staying north so that's good :)
 
monsoon season in the southeast. Looks like a short window until the next rain..I don't think we will see a full race, so if they do get it going, I think it will be a free for all to the halfway point.

I almost hope that's what we end up with, only because at this point, I won't be able to stay up long enough for them to run the whole race. Nevermind what any other fans may want. I'm all about me right now.
