Fall/Winter Weather Thread

Our brief warm up is over. I think our high today is supposed to be like 13-17. Either way, it's too freaking cold. I'm getting too old for this crap.

Fixin to rain here. Glorious rain. We got a total of 4" of rain last year. 15" is normal. Probably going to see 1.5"-2.0" out of a couple of storms that are expected to roll through in the next 3-4 days. :)
Local farmers and ranchers need more but at least we're getting something.

Glad to hear y'all are finally getting some rain out there.
 
I wasn't expecting 25* this morning. But the sun is out today and warming nicely. But we go back down next week.
I have trees that were starting to green up a little --- until last night --- they got zapped.
 
Same here, the wife is ticked off, brown needles on her favorite tree.
 
It is raining crazy here right now. We need it but I hope it doesn't create problems for those in last year's burn areas.
Steady rain most of the day. Supposed to rain all night.
Smells crisp and clean outside. :)

So far no slides, but it's expected to rain all night.
One thing for sure, most people around here do not know how to drive in the rain. Flooded areas of the freeway this morning only allowed speeds of 40 mph. One car was upside-down near my onramp, several spinouts throughout the city during the morning commute.

went out and cut another ric of wood for mine, I must be going crazy, I am enjoying cutting wood, but this weather is getting real old. This is a more typical forecast, sleet, freezing rain, and snow. Lays a sheet of ice on everything and then snows.
 
I wasn't laughing at ya'lls weather. It was the contrast of the pictures. Our's is still screwy as hell also.
 
Damn TRL, bundle up, turn the heater up and drink a hot toddy.
 
Looks like 7 in Pampa where my mother-in-law lives also.
