Fear the Walking Dead

Many say this will be good for the show. I don't know. All I know is I am waiting for the new season already.

Fear The Walking Dead - Showrunner Exiting After Season 3

Showrunner Dave Erickson, who developed the drama alongside Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, will exit the zombie drama following its third season. Instead, AMC announced Friday that he will turn to development for the cable network as part a multiple year deal. While he will no longer have day-to-day oversight of the prequel series, he will remain credited as an exec producer.

Under the overall deal, Erickson will develop new projects for AMC Studios and other networks in the AMC Networks portfolio including Sundance TV

AMC renewed The Walking Dead companion series for a fourth season ahead of its third season premiere, the network announced Friday afternoon. Per the network, Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg (Once Upon a Time) will become the show’s new co-showrunners in season 4.

As EW previously reported, showrunner Dave Erickson is stepping down after season 3 in order to focus on new projects for AMC Studios. The network also announced that Walking Dead showrunner and executive producer Scott M. Gimple is joining the series as an EP as well.

“We are thrilled to be joining Fear The Walking Dead and couldn’t be more excited to work alongside the wonderful team at AMC on this show,” said Chambliss and Goldberg in a statement. “We love this universe and are truly honored to have the chance to contribute to it.”

“We’re very excited to continue the journey of Fear The Walking Dead, and truly look forward to working with the talented team of Andrew Chambliss, Ian Goldberg, and Scott Gimple,” said AMC and SundanceTV president of original programming and development Joel Stillerman.

The third season of Fear The Walking Dead premieres June 4 at 9 p.m. ET

They find a new home. I would consider this somewhat a spoiler as it shows a new place and new faces.

From the spoilers I have on 3.01, things are picking up. It appears to be a great episode.

I saw just a glimpse of the TV commercial but there's a marathon of season 1 & 2 that will air before the new season starts Sunday.
As they say consult your local listings for time and channel...

The new season will start with back to back episodes 3.01 and 3.02.

WARNING! Do not watch this if you do not like spoilers. It is the opening scene for tomorrow's premiere.

I didn't realize that it was going to be two hours long, so that was a bonus. Good show that I'll be watching every week but still not the intensity of TWD.

That whole spoon thing..... Damn!

As soon I saw what she was going to do with the spoon, I turned my head. I couldn't watch it.

I missed the series premier over a week ago. Haven't had a spare 2 hours to watch yet but I caught part of E3 and then the Talking Dead.
Just not feeling the love,,,KWIM?

You missed way too much by missing the premiere. It is a must see before watching any other episodes.

What a friggin awesome episode! The Lightning bolt to the head of the former steroid using walker was epic and hilarious as well.:lol2: This show has come a long way since those crappy episodes at the start of this series. Welcome back Daniel Salazar, we missed you.:D

I normally watch this show off of the DVR never really caring to sit down to watch it live. I finally sat down to watch the latest episode last night. Half way through it, BAM..... nothing. I never gave it a thought this past Sunday night when our electric service went out during a storm. It happened right in the middle of this past weekend's episode.

Looks like I have to wait until this Sunday to check out the second half of this past episode. Anyone know if it's available to stream online?

Two hour mid-season finale next Sunday. I can't believe it's that time already.

I don't have the dates on my calendar but if that's true, then I guess so.
