yea , i tinkered with it this week. tryin to get it to bite better. i know what ya mean about the full moon !!!!
 
i took their motors to get rebuilt and both of them are totally illegal. i have to get different ones. 700 bucks wasted cause the guy said they were legal.
 
well maybe you can do some tradin or something,,, hey momma's call for me to do something prodictive, you know what red green says , if your wife don't find ya handsome at least she can find ya handy!LOL so, you know my job is to keep her happy, even if i have to ducktape it ! so i'l see ya later ,, hava good one :)

I hear ya! :)

You guys are talking about the farm/ag business up there going down hill, well you should see how it's going down here with the tobacco business. Winston Salem was built on that business but now the biggest business in town is the medical business. Two huge hospitals and a medical school that also teaches law. So we have a lot of grad students here who either want to be a doctor or a lawyer. Not exactly a bunch of race fans, if you know what I mean. :)

thanks buckaroo ! neither the doc's or lawyers like getting their hands dirty , thats for sure.my kids love the racing , thank goodness !! peoria has turned into about the same here. i think thats all downtown is anymore . lawyers offices and med buildings.

hi steve, ready for tonight?

i saw on 4m raymee crashed leading the feature in princeton last night. the 75 crew will be thrashing to be to peoria tonight! probably run the other car.

....Wierd night. New car looked good. Qualified 12,but broke starter. :confused: Borrowed another starter, and lost,Yes LOST it in the Heat Race. :( After a push start for the semi, Found there was no clutch. :eek: Time to load and go home. :eek: No dents,car looked super,so a good night I guess............................................BB

First and foremost, Ray did not get hurt. The car was running best on the high side on a very slick track. Ray got into the corner and got into some of the dry, slick marbles, which just pretty much sucked the car into the wall. The right front hit the wall and climbed it. The suspension on that part of the car was damaged. It this point, it has been dis-assembled and in the process of being re-assembled. The crew worked on the car when they got it back to Peoria last night and is still working on it now to get it back together for tonight. It will be on the track at Peoria for the weekly show. File last night as a "racing deal" and look forward to tonight. The car is fast and going to the front!

sounds like i missed some good racing in peoria. tim is over for mothers day, he and his lady friend came saturday afternoon and we are doing lunch with his mom today....... i need to clone myself. LOL, i miss too much stuff being just one person :p

doing ok, we had a good rain last night here and she's happy her garden is growing!...... steve lance jr. took their money at lincoln last night. shickel jr. kinda got the bad end of the deal got took out by a [in my opinion] dumb move by an inexperienced driver. i talked to frank jr. in the pit office and he was not one bit happy!
 
i bet not. you think tim lance is out for a week after saturday?
 
kinda up to sherrie probably, don't you think? i talked to shickel jr. last night he said man it got wild saturday night his carb. was messed up he was putting a new on last night before hot laps. man he was tired and in a not so good of mood last night, it's rough racing 3 nights a weekend
 
got any ideas on the forward bite on your car? maybe more % on rear? you think some might be tires or tire pressure? have you played with that?
 
we'll just have to wait and see. i won't speculate. i'm gonna change a few things on my car and hope they work.
 
it'l be interesting to see if they stick with the initial call. yeah hope you get to the front soon.... i'l see you later. about pooped out from the weekend, think i'l kick back and relax :beerbang:

Ya know, We went to Spoon fo 14 yrs, and finally had enough political BS. :( Have spent last year at FC. Its unbelievable how nice it is to feel respected at a race track. :rolleyes: Ron and Lisa, Don't let Lincoln become like that.
I've had folk tell me what a Great guy this Duke is. Well, when ever I've been in earshot of him, hes usually bleeting out things that, if he were talking to me, he would have to practice getting up. :boxing: I won't go on about the disrespect the flagman shows toward the drivers, who are on the track.

Peoria may be in for some surprises this year...........................BB
 
i think the biggest problem is , they need to work with the racers. talk and listen more. but yet , stay to the rules. tempers flair , but we all and the track need to pay closer attetion to each other. we all have to work together.

peoria has always been biased and always will be and i dont believe anything or anyone will ever change that..they have rules but they only apply them when they feel like it...if shane got into trouble for going through the infield, then so should have weisser...just like last year....mckendrick dryg an a official with his car and done a donut in the pits...they kicked him out and then turned right around and let him back in he could have killed someone in the pits doing that. how MANY MANY meetings have they had about rough driving saying if ya do this or ya do that , youre done? they only enforce that rule when someone they dont like drives rough.in my opinoin...not that itmatters, is if you are an official of that track you shouldnt be able to have a car on that track...you cant tell me if mike jones does something wrong that duke would be able to be unbiased...ive seen him get away with crap that other drivers get in trouble for. last year at the pepsi championship me andmattmurphy were the first to bein line to draw a spoon....mike jones was not there....but guess who was already written in the book in the number 1 spot? yeah ..mike jones...i told matt if i was in sportsman and that happened tome i would have demanded a redraw..that was total crap..and jones won the race too..and i am not talking bad about mike jones...i dont know him..but duke does own that car...
$bill i dont think lincoln will get like that because gary baugh is a really decent man..the only problem i see with lincoln is the flagman,...god he sucks !!!
 
believe it or not lisa, mike jones got dq'd saturday for being under weight. i stuck too . i see a lot of stuff going on and think it's wrong. very wrong. i really hope it all gets sorted out fast. for all our good.
 
i hat to see shane kicked out for the season at peoria. i didn't see the incident saturday. i think a retainer wall up the inside backshut at peoria would stop some of the cuting across the infield to get back on the track.i remember when the latemodels pitted in the infield back in ANCIENT times 1970's LOL! they worried about someone getting hit from a spinning car , there was no cutting across the infield to get your spot back or get a little "whatever" from someone. I tell you for a fact it got pretty crowded in that infield. though i never watched a race from the stands except a couple when ray broke early and we'd go over to the stands to watch rest of race, but it was interesting for the fans to watch the goings on in the infield pits...... also sometimes it was interesting to watch the goings on in the stands from the pits! LOL :D :bigfight:

well that totally amazes me....ive only been there going on three years now and the stuff i have seen go on is just riduculous...one driver can do one thing and not git in trouble for it and in the next race a driver do the same thing and get booted...i myself have been screwed over at peoria...i wish they would get it straight because i love racing on that track..
 
hi lisa, yeah, they need to stick to the rules for all. not just some, that's just asking for BIG trouble. sherrie's got to take a stand on the rule book and tell her officials to inforce them, if not she's going to have a lot of trouble.

yep , your both right. i just want to go racing. play by the rules and know that everyone else is too.
