I'M GLAD THERE'S AN ALTERNATIVE FROM 4M

steve the street stocks i saw at farmer city, were like the sportsman in peoria ,tube chassis, i think the same cars run fairbury, so you will be pretty heavy. i don't know if they have a weight rule or not. just hope if you run there you are not at too much of a disadvantage weight wise.....i hate to see you leave peoria, but i do understand if you leave,,,,,,,,,

they have a 2800 lb rule. yep, i'll have to step on it i guess. see what happens. there's farmer city and macon or macomb. even princeton too .when and if peoria starts doing something with the track and change which class runs the features then i'll be hopping around.it's crazy to throw the streets on late when the track is so slick. the dust is terrible and it's not worth being tore up the way it is. were taking big enough chances racing let alone magnifying it with bd track conditions too. i race there again only after they start do something with the track.

Thanks Ron for splaining things. :)

The trip to OK was good. A short six days though and though I was ready to come home, I wish I could have stayed another six. The folks are getting old and who knows when they will die. I don't get a chance to get out there very much so I wanted all the time I could with them. Hey, they took me to the new Bass Pro Shop there in OKC. What a store. Never been in one of those stores. Got to see the memorial for the bombing and that was something else. Kinda makes you forget about the foreign terorists. Anyway, got to see some old friends that I haven't seen in over 30 years and that was great. Now it's time to see some good racin'. Hope y'all are doing well. :beerbang:

well it wouldnt probably be as bad ..but they changed the stupid way the features are ran...the hornets and street stock have to race after the mods, sportsman and late models run....then there is too much rubber laid down and it is bad for the street stock..i personally loved the track saturday ..but that is because my car goes like he!! on that kind of track...but we have fwd and little tires...i seen alot of sas cars coming off that track all tore up..sherry needs to do something...im anxious to see how many big names show up for summer nationals...i bet not many..not after last years fiasco...those guys were coming off the track after the heats and putting their cars on the trailers and leaving...it was sad...then in the middle of it they grated it..made no sense to me..but what the heck do i know,...im just a girl..lmao :beerbang:

about time you admitted you are a girl and not a race car driver LOL :D
