It's a huge black eye to the sport that A-Roid is still there. At this point, I'm cheering for Boston to stay hot just so the Yanks don't make postseason.

I'm glad the Orioles I love and miss are back. I've been wondering where they've been the past two years. :mad:

They hated him until he came back and started slamming home runs out of the park. Now, they're all die-hard A-Roid fans. For that matter, I know a lot of people who haven't watched baseball all year that are suddenly talking **** about how the Yankees are the greatest ever.

Bandwagon sports fans are the worst.
 
MLB its just a big joke.

They're trying to get AROD out but at the same time letting him play and pad his tainted record. This guy needs to be banned or get all his record wiped clean.

It pathetic that he's just out there basically to stat pad.
 
Don't look now, but the Tribe is back to playing well again and only 2.5 games out of a wild card spot and like 5 games back in their division.
 
Chinese Water Torture sounds more pleasant than tonight's Orioles game. The Red Sox refuse to lose. I'll be shocked if they don't win the World Series.

At times I too think the Red Sox have what it takes to go all the way but then I get back to earth.

Their pitching is just not up to snuff I dont think.

Here's hoping though.
 
The Orioles are back to being a TERRIBLE baseball team. The pitching is horrible, again. If they keep playing the way they have been the past month, they'll finish fourth in the division. The Yanks are healthy now and will probably miracle their way in to the playoffs.

Well, prepare yourself to be shocked. I think the Tigers are by far the best team in the AL this year, as much as that pains me to say being an Indians fan. Their starting pitching has been phenomenal and they score a bunch of runs. they may be the most complete team in the game right now. The Dodgers are pretty damn good in the NL, and they can start 3-4 pitchers who can absolutely shut teams down. Hanley Ramirez and Yasiel Puig are big parts of that, but they also have guys like Adrian Gonzalez and Andre Ethier. Oh, and Matt Kemp should be back from injury pretty soon as well.
 
Red Sox are putting some good distance from second place now.

5 Games as of this minute. Rays are imploding.
 
It amazes me how many New York Yankees fans have come out of the woodwork in the past few weeks now that they're winning games. LOL. Worst fans in all of sports ... disappeared for the entire season to date and suddenly come around and talk a lot of trash when their team is winning.

That said, it's starting to look like they'll make the playoffs. And the way they're playing, could go all the way. :(
 
Boston is just slaughtering Detroit right now. 8 runs in the 6th and 5 in the 7th. 18-4 right now.
 
Andy. I just watched your Orioles play all three games against my Indians and I have to say Chris Davis is not looking too good. He is trying to jack every pitch out of the entire stadium.
 
Barring an epic collapse, it looks like this is the weekend Boston wraps up the East.
 
Boston put up the hurt on Detroit and and the Yankees these past week.

I think this group is prime for world series play.

In the past month they've taken care of the Dodgers, Rays, and Detroit.

All teams considered a threat for the world series.

That's true, but Jacoby Ellsbury went down with a foot injury. Depending on how serious the injury is, that could be devastating. He really makes their offense go and he really needs to be able to run full out to be the player he is.

I didn't see it live but I caught the highlights.

Guy has been doing some good meltdowns as of late. Probably knows he's going to lose his job by the end of the season and is just trying to show he cares.

F*ck that guy. lol
 
So why is AROD still playing in september? I thought he could only play until september because that was when his appeal would run out or something. Did he win his case?

The appeal hearing is supposed to be September 30th. It's a mess.
 
Boy, its a shame for teams like the Orioles and other teams because he is making a difference for the Yankees, dirty or not.
 
I can't believe how long this process is playing out for A-Rod. Then again, I suspect the MLB wants to drag it out because he is making a difference and nobody wants the Yanks in the playoffs more than the MLB.

I watch pretty much every Indians of the season, with the exception of the 2 or 3 games in a year that are not on TV. Last night's 14-3 win over the White Sox was the most enjoyable game I've seen in weeks. They scored 4 in the first inning and never looked back. They were up 12-2 in the fifth inning.
 
Damn the Red Sox are denying the Yankees a playoff spot hardcore.

Wow cant even remember the last time the Red Sox have pummeled the Yankees this bad.

By tomorrow, the Yanks will be out to lunch.
 
Don't look now, but the Indians are making a nice run and are only a half a game out of both wildcard spots.
