MLB 2014

The AL wins the all-star game. Hell yeah!

Cool to see a native Minnesotan get the save in the all-star game in Minneapolis... Pitcher and catcher both playing for the Twins.

Hey Andy, prepare to be educated in Angels Baseball kickassery. :D

I'm so sorry, what were you saying?

Frustrating. We'll try that again haha

Damn, just realized it was a 2 game series. Sonsabitch!

Angels have a tough leg ahead.... Detroit tomorrow.

Two out of three ain't bad. On to Seattle.

Bleacher Report and MLB extra innings both ****** me the other day... I had no idea the O's and Angels had a game three. I'm an idiot. Anyway. Stoked that Ja. Weaver got shown on Baltimore-area televisions, pitched a damn decent game.

6-4 Detroit top of the 9th. ****.

Angels have lost 3 of 4. Still doing pretty damn well.. That rotation though.

Scherzer killed it.

Orioles win in 10. Chris Davis home run. Overturned call in the bottom of the 10th secures the save for Zach Britton and Chris Davis who got Robinson Cano out.

1-0 Angels in 13 innings. Solid pitching.

Corey Kluber outdueled "King" Felix Hernandez Wednesday night in a classic pitching duel, 2-0. Kluber needed a total of 85 pitches in throwing a complete game 3-hit shutout. He struck out 8 and walked 0.

Kluber carried a perfect game into the seventh inning of his previous start against Kansas City and has faced only 28 batters in each of his last two starts. According to Baseball Reference, Kluber is the only pitcher in major league history to face 28 batters or fewer in consecutive starts of at least nine innings. That is a pretty impressive statistic. He'd have won both of those games with back to back shut outs if not for a throwing error by left fielder Ryan Raburn in the KC game.

The Indians traded away Justin Masterson and Asdrubal Cabrera over the past two days. It bugs me that they didn't trade them before when they could have gotten more for them. Both have had pretty below average seasons by their standards and are free agents to be at the end of this season. That undoubtedly hurt what the Indians were able to get for them this week. But, getting pretty much anything for them at this point is a bonus. The team isn't going anywhere this year, mostly because the management team let good players like Scott Kasmir go and didn't sign anybody who was worth anything. The Indians are too cheap to pay Masterson what he is worth long term and first round draft pick and phenom Francisco Lindor is unquestionably the tribe's shortstop of the future so Cabrera wasn't in their future plans either.

Hey @DUN24, two out of three ain't bad.

Thanks

I'll take it! We have to tighten up a bit.. 7-6 since the break and our bats seem to be taking a nap(even though the Angels put up like 457 hits last night). Our rotation and bullpen is looking good right now though!

Tyler Skaggs had a no-no going last night before being pulled with elbow pain.

Don't feel too bad, four of those losses came to BIRDLAND.

****** freeway series isn't even on the damn Dodger channel.. It's showing D-League basketball instead.

I get every ****** Dodger game, except when the Angels play them.

I hope all the Angels fans make it out of Dodger Stadium safely after G. Richards 9 inning shutout.

That Cincinnati team has some serious injury issues. Joey Votto and Brandon Phillips are huge players for them to be without. Jack Hannahan is a great guy and a good glove at third base, but when you are using him as your designated hitter you have some holes to fill in your lineup.

Heartbreaking loss for the Angels in the bottom of the 9th....

A's are leading 3-0 in the top of the 9th.. Dammit.

The St. Louis Cardinals gonna have to get a U.N. Binding Resolution condemning the Orioles over the weapons of mass destruction they have in the dugout at Camden Yards LOL
