Here's a couple more of Jackie. I don't understand a word she's singing in these but, it's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. I never liked opera singing until Jackie came along, now opera has become one of the many kinds of music I like.




An interviewer once asked Jackie where she got her singing voice? did she have a lot of voice training? Her response was my singing voice and singing came from God. Jackie states that she prays before she goes out to sing, thanking the Lord for the gift that the Lord has given her. Also, she asks the Lord to be with her on stage and that HE would sing with her.

Ditzy, you shoulda been from Oklahoma. Your choice of music reminds me of home, but then again besides good old country music, I was a part of the 60's generation. Love LA and this song.

This is a song I played on guitar at my brother's wedding, my long time singer sang it among other songs we did. It's kinda weird that it would be in my head the last couple of days. I haven't thought about the song in years, but it just popped in there the other day. It's even weirder that my wife said yesterday that I don't take care of her like I used to. I haven't played the song until this morning and she doesn't listen to this kind of music so I know she hasn't heard it in years either. Coincidence? I doubt it. Not sure what it it though.
