I think that Monster is trying to pressure NASCAR into an even better deal for them in 2019.
Drake coming would be better than those other three, even they all suck. When I did a tour of ISC for my class we were able to meet a lot of managers from ISC and NASCAR. Monster talks should begin this month for more years. Since the deal was at the last minute we would see more involvement in the 2nd half of season. NASCAR wants to stick with country but monster wants to bring pop/hip hop artists to the tracks. NASCAR wants Sam Hunt as the performer for the 500 but monster wants The Chainsmokers, Fall Out Boy or Drake.
yeah They would be surely missedOne must think of the career options for those poor dear Monster Energy Girls should they become unemployed.
Hey, I have my priorities straight!
I saw where Monster Energy was concerned about Snap benefits(food stamps)could be cut out for energy drinks. If I ever go on food stamps,I hope I can find something more nutritious than a sugary energy drink.
We have a SNITCH haha.....

Someone had a hilarious response and called Nascar "The Go Fund Me Series." Like most other people I am hopeful that Nascar and Monster maintain a business relationship as going a year or 2 and then bailing sends the wrong message and cheapens the series, IMO.
I was surprised to learn of Monster's dissatisfaction and am curious to know what exactly they are having issues with.
Right now if I was a betting man? The OP is hoping and praying one of those big dogs he poked doesn't find out who started that rumor.
Bro.....lol
Not a problem.Lmao, whoops my bad.
Lmao, whoops my bad.
Oh good grief! The internet is such an amazing place.
At least quote me correctly my Reddit brothers! I said "I would not be surprised" to see them pull out after this season. Doesn't mean they will. It just means I have heard enough people say that the relationship is currently rocky to "not be surprised." If Richard Childress sold his team next year, THAT would surprise me. Because I haven't heard a single word about it. But if Monster wanted to bail, that WOULD NOT surprise me, because I've heard they're currently unhappy from like 100 different people this weekend at Michigan alone. Make sense??? My post was in response to someone asking if they were happy. I have heard they're not. But like I said earlier, they could be happy by the end of today for all I know.
Cheers!
Lol! No...actually really quiet on the rumor front. Still not sure where Kenseth will end up. I believe they're still looking for funding for the 77 & 10. 41 seems to be waiting for Monster to figure out their budgets. No idea about the 27 future. There really wasn't a lot of Silly Season talk.So if you were Michigan....did you get any fresh rumors around the garage as far as free agents/sponsorship etc.?
Asking for reddit lol jk.
The quiet before the storm? Or the sh*t hits the fan? There really wasn't a lot of Silly Season talk.
No one really had any specifics, just that there might be two different visions, and two different ways they interpret what they could or could not do when they signed on. I don't get the sense that they are unhappy with the impressions, attendance or the actual product etc (I would guess they're happy with the racing). My gut would say it's more of a power struggle kinda thing... *shrugs*I too am a little bit curious as to what Monster is not very happy about.
LOL. I would guess the honeymoon ended about February 19th...No one really had any specifics, just that there might be two different visions, and two different ways they interpret what they could or could not do when they signed on. NASCAR fans are outraged at the Monster Energy girls' revealing outfits

Honestly I lean towards believing that you overheard a conversation about Monster Beverage backing out on Kurt & it was twisted into Monster Beverage backing out of NASCAR by the time the 'telephone' got to you.Hahaha. That's the thing with information, it's always subject to change. NASCAR could come to the table this afternoon with acceptable answers to all the problems Monster is having with their relationship, and Monster could then sign a 5-year extension by the end of day today. BUT...that wouldn't change the fact that on Monday morning, August 14th, they're pissed. Same was true with Byron. The Cup offer literally came out of nowhere.
I honestly don't care who believes anything I post...I just like message boarding with you guys.

Interesting, thank you for sharing, now the fun part begins, all of us coming up with what we think they are unhappy about. No one really had any specifics, just that there might be two different visions, and two different ways they interpret what they could or could not do when they signed on. I guess Monster is more for the Motocross flat-brimmed hat Bro crowd than the Nascar crowd
Isn't it amazing this sport was on a upswing at a time when it had a title sponsor targeting adults...
I've tried to voice opinion every time that targeting young kids just doesn't exactly jive with who is likely to buy race tickets and take that initiative to travel for a race weekend...
Not a real surprise
I talked to a guy that travels to a lot of NASCAR events for a publication that told me Monster only signed up for one year with the option for a second year. Monster is paying a drop in the bucket compared to what Sprint did. If Monster drops out after just one year, it will show NASCAR has bigger problems than we realize.
Monster is well suited for motocross. They didn't attract new young people to that sport, their target audience was already there. If they thought they would get those kind of numbers with NASCAR, they made a mistake. That might be why they are unhappy. NASCAR also made a mistake, if they thought Monster could attract young people to the sport. People attend sporting events because they like the sport, anything else doesn't really matter. Would you be likely to go to a concert you normally wouldn't go to, if they were going to have a thirty lap sprint race, before the music? No, probably not. So if NASCAR wants that age group to attend, they have to offer the kind of racing they like, not music, or anything else. They have to come for the race. The race is the thing, it's why we watch.
Edgy yoots are beginning to take the Cup Series by storm...need edgy yoots in the stands and the infields to complement them.Isn't it amazing this sport was on a upswing at a time when it had a title sponsor targeting adults...

That they already know. The question is, how?Edgy yoots are beginning to take the Cup Series by storm...need edgy yoots in the stands and the infields to complement them.
