What's the podium?
It's all good. I don't ever post anything here that could directly get me "in trouble" anyway. Meaning, if I'm directly involved in helping a sponsor come or go, or a driver get hired or fired etc, I won't ever post it here before it becomes public (for obvious reasons). I might discuss the process a little bit, or why decisions were made - but always after the fact.
Where I really have fun here is with the stuff that doesn't directly involve me, but I pick up from conversations with those who are involved. Problem is, I can't be certain about any of those nuggets since I wasn't actually in the room, so I try to temper it with "might be" or "wouldn't be surprised if" or "what I'm hearing is" etc. Because even when I do get something from a fantastic source (like Byron) that still doesn't guarantee things won't change. The bottom line is that Reddit blowing up any of that stuff would prove annoying to the people who eventually have to answer questions from reporters because of it (yes, reporters often mine Reddit for things to pursue, lol). Again, not a huge deal, but it's amazing how easily something can turn from a grey situation into something so black & white because of how something is phrased on the internet.
