yeah it could. But one of the richest men in the world Carlos Slim Dommit, and Arris aren't dumb when it comes to the court of public opinion, and right now they are dragging the preacher thru the mud. I got a feeling the fans in South America aren't too happy either with the way things are going. That would really screw Daniel Suarez.
And how much funding will Truex/19 team have next year?

Preece...that would be coolSilly Season: AJ Allmendinger move creates opening at JTG Daugherty
A.J. on the move, wonder where he is going. Allmendinger had a five-year contract that was to have taken him through the 2020 season. So much for a contract
JTG Daugherty has a press conference scheduled for 11:30 a.m. ET on Friday at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It is expected to announce the driver of the No. 47 car for next season. Reports suggest that Ryan Preece could be that driver.

You know Shank has a seat waiting for him. The bromamce that never ends.
AJ should look back at this experience and know he has done a great job tbh. JTG will become a better team over time, but AJ's win at the Glen really solidified JTG-Daughtery's position in the field and with Kroger.

Oh yeah, that South American NASCAR demographic.
That makes more sense with A.J. having a contract until 2020, he probably wanted out and the split was mutual. He's much better on the curvy stuff.
Doesn't sound like Reddick is locked in at Jr motorsports. That could be interesting if he isn't. Lots of good choices in the truck series.

That didn't take long.
18 yr old running full time in the K&N for David Gilliland's team currently in 2nd place.
He has about 50 Xfinity races under his belt and tons of modified experience. I think he'll take time to adjust but will be alright.Preece has little experience and will turn out like Brett Moffit in 2015

They should really hype him up if he gets the number 8, and talk about where he's from a lot. It might help him capture some old Jr fans and bring them back.I am super excited Hemric is driving the 31 (or an 8!!! car) next year. Might buy a shirt and hat of his next year. Wonder if he will outdrive Pop-Pop's grandson.
