At least Cole Custer isn't in the 41.
I wonder if anyone said that about JJ ?
Looks like Joe G's swelled head got in the way of business.
Looks to me like JGR put the driver in front of the sponsor, and went a different direction instead of staying with the money.

Austin Hill Named the driver for HRE racing in the trucks.
We don't know if Arris had to write a check to JGR to get out of a contract.
Change “driver” to “coveted crew chief” and you’re on it.
Might as well get the hype train going for Daytona! Seriously. Do it Truex. We need the headlines.
and Suarez wrecks Truex over driver shakeup
This guy is a gem on radars for a while, now he has a sponsor to help himself. I think Austin will be great for HRE.
yeah they picked a good one, he easily could be running for a championship and he will run in the top 5 a lot I bet.
LOL missed that one. What a perfect trio.
yeah I don't expect they will go out and have lunch together.
Here’s a look at all the notable moves in the Cup and Xfinity Series.
Maybe, but I think they are fine in that area.
Of course, because Coach can strong arm Carlos Slim and Barney in the same year. The guy is out of control. SMDH.
Ironic? coincidence? that they waited until after the first of the year to announce Suarez/Arris to the 41 with 41 days until Daytona on Suarez'a birthday?
Are you saying JGR is fine with All their Crew Chiefs?
Seems to me that they just made changes so ALL is not so good in that position.
Also, although they have run good, without Kyle, they never really challenged the field
consistently. AND produced NO championships for many years. ( I don't consider a partial season a champion.) I think that makes Tony the last champion for JGR.
They are deep in talent with crew chiefs and engineers. That's what they have been using Xfinity for. You might have missed that.
They had two drivers with 2 years of experience on their team. Were you one of the many ragging on Chasing History?
You may as well consider FRR a JGR car. They did fine.
Kyle Busch is the 2015 Champion. Still.
Many consider JGR the best team in the garage pre-OSS (when Ford was gifted a blade and competitiveness).
Kyle Bush is a champion and I can't stand Kyle Bush. He earned that championship and pretty much dominated to get it.
It's the KARMA CHAMPIONSHIP switch year! Logano dominates 2015 under old format and gets Kensethed. Kyle dominates 2018 under old format and gets Logano'd (except Logano Logano'd Truex to get there).
This is not an issue I have kept up on but if Arris was contractually obligated to JGR I sure hope they had to write a check to get free. Business is business!
IMO the only people that would have a problem with this are the ones mad because JGR didn’t give Barney what he needed to stay in business.
The biggest losers of the 2018 NASCAR season
The biggest improvers of the 2018 NASCAR season
He competed in less races and still won more races than anyone else.
I hate the fact that he exposed a major flaw in the point system and won the championship having started less races than anyone.
However, he played by nascar's rules and won the championship. Therefore it's a legit championship in my eyes.

This one is a bit of a stunner, no?
If the driver isn't Moffitt or Chastain I'll be shocked
It's an already-funded ride so I don't know why they couldn't make a splash signing like that. Sounds good to me.
Crafton is the last of the competitive old heads left. Johnny decided to retire or GMS was ready to move on? Maybe Alligent is stretching itself thin and maybe someone has a sponsor to bring in? This is wild.
It'd be something else if Moffitt pulled sponsorship out of his ass. Very weird situation.
Man, I wonder what company it could be? Must be bringing in a nice chunk of change.
Sauter handling it very...Sauter-like.
