Looks to me like JGR put the driver in front of the sponsor, and went a different direction instead of staying with the money.

Ironic? coincidence? that they waited until after the first of the year to announce Suarez/Arris to the 41 with 41 days until Daytona on Suarez'a birthday?

Are you saying JGR is fine with All their Crew Chiefs?
Seems to me that they just made changes so ALL is not so good in that position.
Also, although they have run good, without Kyle, they never really challenged the field
consistently. AND produced NO championships for many years. ( I don't consider a partial season a champion.) I think that makes Tony the last champion for JGR.

They are deep in talent with crew chiefs and engineers. That's what they have been using Xfinity for. You might have missed that.
They had two drivers with 2 years of experience on their team. Were you one of the many ragging on Chasing History?
You may as well consider FRR a JGR car. They did fine.
Kyle Busch is the 2015 Champion. Still.
Many consider JGR the best team in the garage pre-OSS (when Ford was gifted a blade and competitiveness).

Kyle Bush is a champion and I can't stand Kyle Bush. He earned that championship and pretty much dominated to get it.

It's the KARMA CHAMPIONSHIP switch year! Logano dominates 2015 under old format and gets Kensethed. Kyle dominates 2018 under old format and gets Logano'd (except Logano Logano'd Truex to get there).

This is not an issue I have kept up on but if Arris was contractually obligated to JGR I sure hope they had to write a check to get free. Business is business!

IMO the only people that would have a problem with this are the ones mad because JGR didn’t give Barney what he needed to stay in business.

He competed in less races and still won more races than anyone else.

I hate the fact that he exposed a major flaw in the point system and won the championship having started less races than anyone.

However, he played by nascar's rules and won the championship. Therefore it's a legit championship in my eyes.
