Hey Frank, is the Topless race going to count for the challenge and MARS cup points? Just wondering becuase I seen the picks close pretty early saturday morning and a lot of us will not be able to make any changes after friday nights races since we will be down there, unless our rooms have internet.

Rob, I've took some Advil and feel a lot better. I've been working on some things for the Challenge this week from a picture LM60Fan sent me. Get this, I learned how to use the scanner!!!!(This is a big deal for me! I am "technology challenged") Now I'm gonna try to upload some things on the group site! If I get this computer stuff mastered, Bill Gates better be watching over his shoulder.
Now get this! I took the picture LM sent me and took it to the paint program and did some work on it. Then I sent it to the Word program and put some Word Art onto it. Then I printed of what I made and scanned it into pictures on my computer. Now I've got to get them on the group site, that's my next challenge. Like I said before, this is really something for me! I know....you all are saying ROOKIE!!!!! My wife, the computer wizard, has helped me so far, but she don't know to much about the internet so I'm on my own from now on. I uploaded a picture once but I don't know how? I think if I work at it I'll figure it out maybe.

I've uploaded a photo album on the group site called VT Awards and such. Right now all I've got are "Winners Tickets" in there. I'm thinking of getting the player who had the highest score in each race one of these, just like the drivers get sticker if they win a feature. Knda makes it more like racing don't you think? LOL Anyway, just something I've been working on this week that I thought might be cool.

Thanks again for the old pictures Gene and Bruce! Got some questions. Who is the #1 Dodge car? What about the asphalt cars 73,12 and 1? If I was guessing, I would say the 12 might be Bobby Allison at an ASA race at Springfield, but that's probably wrong.
I don't remeber the old chevelles of Phillips and Goldsberry, that must have been just before I seen these guys race? I could have seen the Goldsberry car and not remembered it but I know I never seen that Phillips car. I do remembr that House of Sound machine though, on dirt. These shots bring back the memories!

I've calmed down again. It just irks me to no end that 4m either is slow, doesn't work at all, or they delete legimate posts at will. Unfortunately, with me doing all my racing on the computer I have to go where the news and results are.

For some reason I'm having trouble with irfanview also, the first time I had it everything was perfect, as of right now can't seem to narrow down the problem... It resizes everything to bitmap format so I switched it to jpeg format still having problems...

GRT you need to get down to Batesville to see a race some time. Man that was some of the best racing I have seen in a long time. If you like west plains, you will like Batesville.
Frank, just did miss you when you got there, we had to run, with the crowd coming in the way they were, we were affarid we was going to lose our seats. Did get to see sozo a few times over the weekend, and got to see Ron saturday night. Had a great time down there and cant wait to go again next year.

Heres the info on the 2nd Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals. It only takes $50 to reserve your spot on the motorcoach. You dont need to make final payment until we leave on September 30th. There will be 3, yes 3 pick up points for this trip. First one is in Springfield, Second one is in Bolivar and the third one will be in Kansas City (site not yet determined). I hope that helps some of your KC and Bolivar people.....
I will be leaving for the World 100 on September 8th, so i have to know how many will be going by the time i leave.

This message is for those who are thinking about or are planning to go on the bus to the Knoxville Raceway for the 2nd Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals.
I had a meeting with my boss yesterday afternoon and he gave me the permission to give away a free trip! So, this is how it will work....On Sunday, October 2nd, when the bus is on its way back to Missouri, I will draw someone's name/ticket. That person will have his or her trip cost refunded back to them, in other words, a free trip.
You can't win if you don't go!!!

option #1 - going to Knoxville Raceway on Saturday, October 1st for consy's and feature races only. No overnights. cost is $100 per person.
option #2 - going to Knoxville Raceway on Friday, September 30th for races and staying for racing on October 1st. one nights hotel on Friday night. cost is $165 per person, based on double occupancy.
Both of these options will have us leaving Knoxville Raceway AFTER the 100 lap feature to return home. Which means that the motorcoach will not make it to Springfield until approximately 8am on Sunday, Oct. 2.
Please give me feedback on this. I will do whatever the majority wants.
