SILLY SEASON 2019

Good deal Reddick gets a cup ride for the 500..maybe, he has to race his way in

Reddick will drive the No. 31 Chevrolet with his paint scheme and sponsor being announced next week. Without the security of a charter, he’ll have to make the field either through his qualifying time or Gander RV Duel race.

Going to be a lot of cars for the 500. Will be nice to see the duels mean something for the first time in a few years.
Has anyone seen an entry list? If they're going to practice next weekend like they usually do, the deadline for entry blanks is probably Tuesday? That's another Jayski page I just realized I'm going to miss, the entry list for the week.

Hey, @Johali, do you have a detailed schedule for Speedweeks yet?

Scott who is an ex employee of Jayski said per reddit to expect it Wednesday. Lol...

Thanks. Can I assume that since he said it on reddit, that reddit is where we should expect to see it?

I'm going to have to find new sources for entry lists and 10-lap practice speeds. Somebody posted a link to 10-lap speeds and I lost it.

Yeah Reddit typically has the quickest posts of anything out there. Otherwise follow guys like Gluck on twitter etc. But I usually check reddit because it's the easiest...even though that community of fans is really something else lol

Thanks. I haven't had a reason to look at reddit before. Who qualifies as 'guys like Gluck', besides Gluck himself?

I'm not interested in fast updates as much as accurate. I recall I can get entry lists on NASCAR but I could be wrong. I liked Jay's format because he pointed out the part-timers and driver changes.

The drivers entry list usually comes out on Tuesday.

Jeff Gluck
Bob Pockrass

I'm sure about others lol I'm not to hip on it all either

Good for Steven! Am I the only one that feels he has not been given a fair shake? I remember when he was with RYR and honestly he did a great job for them. This is when RYR was on the downturn close to closing as well. He's had **** rides and driving for Obiaka, JP, and Mike Harmon were horrid deals. Also, I wonder why RCR dropped him? He was doing a pretty good job then as well.

Interesting career trejectory, but I think he will do well in a full-funded ride even for JD. Good luck to him.

Yeah I don't keep up with backmarkers as well as I should. But I thought the same thing when I heard he had a ride with JD motorsports. They aren't a major player team, but they are stable.

Yeah, I don't think JDM is a team that makes promises they can't keep. So it looks like this will be Leicht's first full season since 2017.
Will be interesting to see what he can do, last year he really drove for the slowest teams in the series.

Yeah JD motorsports races for a top 20 finish, if they can do that with what they are working with, they have had a good race.

Busch is running the "V-lit" scheme at the All-Star Race... NASCAR is embracing the memes:

Needs to be updated, but okay then. I like Busch sticking to their word.

After much consideration and with no sign of Mcmurray or Bayne having a full time ride, I have decided that Almirola will be my new driver to root for. I've always been a fan of his as he's always so optimistic and seems to mind his own business and never causes problems. I'd rather he drive for a different team though

Aric needs to give A Dillon some “street justice” this year.

Why a different team?

I like Almirola a good amount too, no idea what he was talking about at Texas though, I'll give him a pass on that one.

So you would prefer that he does worse?
