Why is the fire dept not funded by property taxes, seems STUPID that an EMERGENCY SERVICE should not be afforded to ALL, simply put tax the property and the problem goes away..as far as the firemen to stand by and watch YOUR FELLOW man's life go up in smoke with no aid is ludicrous.

Simply put it is the economy, this past season no matter what track you watched there were plenty of vacant seats, this will not change for at least 3 years.

Yep, all three, short tracks are so much better than the super speedways, the driver wins at these short tracks, where as at the super the crew wins the race, heck on the supers you could throw a brick on the gas pedal and wait for the crew radio you, its time to pit.

IMHO NASCAR needs to ban bump drafting and tandem racing needs to be outlawed, it is totally unfair. A single driver may be the better driver but take two good drivers tandem racing and he looses, either make certain races tandem specific or ban it, anymore most races look like semi's running...

I think Carl will fizzle out. Stewart is not out of the picture yet.

Who would have ever thought that Trevor Bayne would have won the Daytona 500 this year, seeing this was only his second Sprint car start. The winner is the winner, as long as they follow the rules.
