Tbh when you're in a position of power, it is unprofessional. Nothing to do with pay.So crap talking other people is acceptable then?
What is the pay level where it is no longer acceptable?

Judge Bell could have stopped this from happening.
Childress indicated that once they got the final charter offer with only five hours to decide he had no choice but to sign it. His signed statement also indicated he still seeks permanent charters for all charter holders. What did they do to erase them? It was my understanding the series folded on it's own.
BTW. as Phelps said about Childress, if he is so unsatisfied why didn't he sign the charter and the sell out? I ask that question about 23XI every day.
This works for me. I worked for a small business for 7 years and when we had somebody we had trained, lent money too and the went over to work for the competition it went like most of this with the owner taking the lead.Genuine question- do these texts change your opinion on NASCAR management and how they run the sport?
The hole is getting deeper by the minute.

Fringe benefits might not be that bad.I have been saying it for years. Phelps has to GO. I wouldn't hire that clown to scrub toilets in a whorehouse.
I think there is a lot of validity to that. However, once the majority of owners buckled under pressure from NASCAR and did not stick together, what not reckless option was left for 23XI and FRM to pursue that has any teeth to it?
When it all goes to hell the France’s have their scapegoat.I have been saying it for years. Phelps has to GO. I wouldn't hire that clown to scrub toilets in a whorehouse.
You're gonna need a bigger goat pen. When it all goes to hell the France’s have their scapegoat.

If you want to believe they are losing money that is your choice. The people I was referring to weren't employees either.Team owners aren't employees of NASCAR. If they were they wouldn't be losing money by participating.
I'm guessing because it was entered into the public record as part of pre-trial discovery. If none of this is admissible in court why is getting released or even allowed to be released?
Reminds me of election mud slinging
NASCAR didn't train or develop any of these people. The team owners did all of that. The team owners also being asked to shoulder more load for promoting the sport on social media while also cutting their costs. So why do they need to be loyal? If you want to believe they are losing money that is your choice. The people I was referring to weren't employees either.
I go by what they said about Childress. If you don't like being in Nascar, go ahead and sign the charter agreement and then sell out. The facts are he has made multi millions from Nascar...back to my post of saying the teams aren't broke. Drive by their house(s), take a look at the vineyards, yachts, planes etc. Look in the silly season threads, look who is expanding, forming alliances, JR's running a Cup car for Daytona. Broke teams don't do that.NASCAR didn't train or develop any of these people. The team owners did all of that. Childress made the majority of that himself by negotiating deals for his team. That's what NASCAR says it wants from its owners but apparently he's a dumb redneck in spite of being one of the most successful owners in the sport's history.I go by what they said about Childress. Let's face the honest truth here. Nobody probably knows who Richard is these days if there's no Dale. The reason Richard made those deals were because Dale. Don't get me wrong I like Richard, but without Dale his life is a whole different story. The only other top talent that came out of that place was Kevin. And Kevin admits he wanted to go there to race with Dale.Childress made the majority of that himself by negotiating deals for his team. Childress rode the crest of the wave with Earnhardt. He knows it and so does everybody else. The right place at the right time.Let's face the honest truth here. I only read the replies that are about 2 sentences long and the Twitter links. 98% of the replies on this board are just biased opinions of NASCAR shills. Still think some of this boards members are on the NAPcar payroll.Serious question, how do you guys find the time to keep up and read all this? I missed yesterday and there is no way I would spend an hour plus, reading all the messages and posts. I finally gave up and just scrolled to see who had the last word and that was @Charlie Spencer
And some a crazy enough to think this racing site as bandwidth for a daily blog.I only read the replies that are about 2 sentences long and the Twitter links. 98% of the replies on this board are just biased opinions of NASCAR shills. True, BUT RC has been a loyal foot soldier for NASCAR since the late 60's, and whether you agree or disagree with his point of view, he deserves a hell of a lot more respect than he got in those texts. If you ask me who is (or should be) more important to NASCAR, Phelps or Childress, Phelps doesn't have a prayer in Hell of winning that contest. There are certain people in this sport that I feel have a free pass for life, and Richard Childress is one of them.Childress rode the crest of the wave with Earnhardt. He knows it and so does everybody else. The right place at the right time.
