Congratulations 18 Kyle Busch

This really shows his true character and why I have no respect for him. With the resources he has available, there is no excuse for cheating just to take the money and glory from the "little guy".
Absolutely disgusting KDB.

Fresh perspective. Thank you.

Yeah, I'm not sure where the "Cup guys sell seats in Xfinity" theory comes from. A Foghat concert at the North Dakota State Fair would probably outdraw most of those races.

"I ain't no country boy, I'm just a homesick man. I'm gonna hit the grit just as fast as I can."

I'll admit that I'm not a Kyle Busch fan.
But to lay all the blame on him in this instance, to me, that's wrong. More than likely his team set up the car, he flew into the track and drove.
His team should be blamed for the light weight, not him personally.

Unless it can be proven that he, personally, ordered that the car be built lighter weight, I will not pin the blame on him.
And yes, I know, the driver/team owner is responsible for everything --- even things they don't know are happening.

I agree as I felt the same way about Denny Hamlin at MIS (I believe) as he drives the car and that is it. I don't believe that team members tell the driver that they have prepared an illegal car for him as that would be pointless.

I have had no problem expressing my displeasure with some of Kyle's antics but now I feel that some folks have taken it to another level and are actively searching for ways to slam him.

You are the most HONEST person on this forum!!! Wish everyone could be like you .

IMO there are a lot of really good people here that add a lot to the conversation, including yourself, but if everyone was like me I would leave the forum immediately lol.

I don't want to be like others who are committed to disliking Kyle Busch regardless of what he does good or bad and I don't want to be like others that have a blind love of a driver like some are with Chase Elliott or Brad Keselowski. I want to see a situation as accurately as I possibly can and don't want to have to manipulate things in order to fit and agenda as if you have an agenda you have a closed mind. I don't want to take things out of context or post half truths in order to try and win an argument as you are just fooling yourself by doing that kind of thing.

OK, if he has fired the person responsible for the cheating then my opinion will change.
I have marveled at some of the driving Kyle has done in race cars. His childish and immature antics makes him very unpopular with many fans. I wonder how loud the crowd cheered when they heard he was illegal?

I think I see where you are coming from and I would dismiss or discipline the person(s) involved with breaching the rules if it was something egregious like an over sized engine or a drilled roll cage. If the cheating was trying to exploit a grey area or it was something minor I wouldn't worry about it as every person that prepares a car should be trying to get every advantage they can and if not they might as well just go full on IROC.

I love the gray area idea........ that's what has always made it so much fun for me to follow Nascar for over 50 years now... The gray area... the ''innovations''.... It ain't cheating if you don't get caught....... if you ain't cheating...... you are being complacent..... the gray area is what Smokey always worked on....(Chad Knauss is as close to Smokey as anyone I have seen).. Today... the rules and stipulations.... the right down to the gnats ass as to the grade of the bolts used has ruined all the inventiveness that I enjoyed so much..... I always looked forward to seeing what Dick Beatty found and confiscated......but..... there were never any hard feelings...... everyone went back home friends and worked on next weeks car......

I get it and I get what kymartin6 says. If this happened at the Cup level no problem, but if the big boys want to run with the locals, then they should make darn sure they are legal. Just my opinion, doesn't matter if it is Bush, Tony or even my boy Blaney. I would still feel the same.

Dunno, but from what I understand, he signed autographs for an hour after the announcement......sooooo, I hope they didn't cheer too loud because it would have hurt his ears.

This post right the hell here. Nailed it.

Kudos to Kyle for that. It is too bad that we always hear about the negatives and rarely the positives. I am sure many of those that got to meet him probably walked away with a good impression.

Kyle won his third straight pole. I guess, Goodyear is finally giving him the tires he wanted.

There is nothing like having the proper tools to do a job !!! Goodyear should give all the teams those same tires to insure a great race :booya:

I'll just go ahead and congratulate him on a win today since he is ahead of the field. Hopefully it rains and we get rain tires.

I make a Happy Meal joke and it gets deleted, yet Revman can say it all he wants. Yep favorites aren't played at all.

A bully stole my happy meal toy one time ........... I have never recovered from that traumatic experience. :(

This race was a week ago guys lol still riding the high?

Grats to Kyle on six poles this season. Never imagined he'd be the one taking off in qualis. :)

Kyle Damn Bush and crew including the preacher are a comedy of errors. Despite hamstringing Truex's crew, giving Kyle the fastest tool in the box week after week and they still can't win. Thank you Karma. :lol2:
Karma spanked them today

Even more ironic that it was KDB's pit crew that made sure he wouldn't win the race. I'm sure both of the Turex's crew members sitting at home were enjoying the hell out of that. I know I was
