No snow around here today either Bobby.OK, so I feel really, really bad for you guys. Freezing to death ain't no way to live.
I'm gonna grill burgers for supper. I'm gonna have a BBQ powwow and ask the BBQ gods to send BBQ mojo to the east coast to melt away all of your troubles
Fortunately I'm off tomorrow as well to recuperate.....Looks like a tough day, Clutch.

I know that trick too buddy but this one really want that big.I know that trick Clutch, you have that fish pushed up close to the camera to make it look bigger. We just step on them around here. Nice one, just kidding
-18 on the thermometer again this morning when I got up. The cold water side of my master bathrooms faucet is froze up this morning and remains so. Had to put one of those little cube heaters in there this morning. I'll leave it do the work for me today. That's only the second time that has happened to us in 19 years of being in the house.
3rd day in a row that my kids have not had school. Monday it was the snow from the weekend and the last two because of the temps. We had 9 1/2" of snow Friday into Saturday. 4" more Sat night. 5" again on Sunday night. My wife hoped to see 10" on Monday night. I told her she'd be severely disappointed.
Yep, I caught it.I knew it was only a matter of time.
Just seeing who's reading.
I'd have to give it to mine twice to make that happen. I don't think I have that in me anymore. My wife hoped to see 10" on Monday night. I told her she'd be severely disappointed.
I read, just chose to ignore. heheheI knew it was only a matter of time.
Just seeing who's reading.
I figured if you had 10 inches you would be parking your truck where you wanted it.So I figured you must have been talking about something else.I knew it was only a matter of time.

Yea, got to hold everyones handsThe State of Georgia's got some 'splaining to do.
The biggest thing many people with 4WD vehicles fail to realize is that it doesn't help them at all when it comes to stopping their vehicle, which is much more important for your safety.Heavy snow this morning, limited visibility, and the plows haven't had much of a chance because the storm is hitting its peak during rush hour. The commute was follow the ruts and tail lights of the car ahead. Surprisingly, no SUVs in the ditch (this is a 4-5 SUV storm). About 80% of cars in the ditch are SUVs because they believe 4WD can defy physics. We should get about 6-8 inches with this storm. Just one yahoo driving a pickup fast and partly running the shoulder (just because he could) kicking up so much snow that I had white out conditions until his wake cleared.
I had 4WD IH Scouts (back in the day) and know they don't stop any faster than 2wd cars. I've had discussions (almost arguments) with some people who refuse to believe that, they insist that they can stop faster. 4WD has better traction (you can get into trouble faster) and better stability changing lanes but they have the same contact patch for stopping as 2wd.The biggest thing many people with 4WD vehicles fail to realize is that it doesn't help them at all when it comes to stopping their vehicle, which is much more important for your safety.

No worries...the Governor just said at a news conference that he is taking "full responsibility". LOL.
I always wish some reporter would follow up with something like "exactly what does that mean Governor?...will you be firing yourself, maybe a fine or probation?"
Bottom line is - if it snows in Atlanta it's gonna be a mess. No reason to have a thousand salt spreader trucks sitting around when it only snows about once every three years. I think I heard that there are 40 spreader trucks for the entire Atlanta Metro area. With that amount they can probably salt all the major roads in about a month.
It seems to me the citizens of Atlanta should have been aware of the coming weather and plan accordingly, they know Atlanta can't handle snow.No worries...the Governor just said at a news conference that he is taking "full responsibility". LOL.
