Andy suddenly hates winter again, after proclaming last year that the weather doesn't bother him. Hm, go figure.
Winter is trying to make a comeback here. My nice sound sleep was rudely interrupted at 4AM with a tremendous flash of lightning and clap of thunder. From then, until 8AM, it poured rain --- 2 inches worth. May get more.

Rainy and windy and in the 40's today. Supposed to be about the same tomorrow, but then freeze over all the rain and melted snow again starting Monday with no snow for Christmas.

Ice, sleet and freezing rain. Lost the power a couple of times already for a short while, and it isn't supposed to quit sleeting until it switches over to snow tonight.. yuk. I will be surprised if the electricity hangs in there.

Boy, the rain left here and went ballistic just to the East of my county. Trees down, lines down, roof damage, windows blown out. Damn.

First day of winter. Windows open.
We had sleet and freezing rain earlier. Now it's heavy wet snow....could get up to 9" in some parts. My corner of the state should only get about 6". Anyone care to come and help me shovel?????

Yeah. My dad was the first one to move out here. Still have family all over, though. Nevada, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Indiana, Arkansas...

Yesterday was incredible. I got out and ran some errands, including Christmas shopping for my wife. She shops for everybody but herself. The temp was in the upper 60's and the sun was actually out most of the time.

He's on the panhandle, AKA Alabama South. When I was down there for the Derby, it was chilly during the Snowflake 100 - temperatures in the mid-40s. The racing made up for it though.
