Bucs win. Back to the Burg for a Sunday afternoon matchup. If you're going you'd better bring your earplugs. PNC Park will be pegging the decibel meter. :D
 
TBS pushing the start of the Braves/Dodgers game to TNT. How can TBS push a game to a network everyone gets but ESPN can't move NASCAR to networks people get?
 
I would say it feels like October watching baseball with the windows open, cool air flowing and beer pouring but it's actually 90° outside ... in October :(

Its because ESPN has their channels all scattered around.

And of course they want to hold you hostage so you have to pay for endless sportcenter reruns.
 
I think somebody forgot to tell Pittsburgh that it's the Steelers who are supposed to be good and the Pirates who are supposed to suck.
 
The Pirates just crushed the Cards yesterday. I absolutely love that. I almost always want to root for the underdog in a situation like this and I have disliked Cardinals for as long as I can remembered. I still don't think the Pirates have enough to win the series, but I really hope they do.

I want of course the Red Sox....but Sox and Pirates or Dodgers would be cool.

I finally get what I wanted, a close game to end in dramatic fashion. Although not surprising when you load the bases with no outs.

Yesterday I was able to successfully DVR the St. Louis / Pirate game and not be exposed to the score before sitting down about 7:30pm to watch the game. Sweet! Doing the same again today and hoping for another Pirate victory. :bounce:
 
Rays barely escape elimination.

That idiot Farrel let Bucholz in too long. Even when Rays Tied it.

It took two more men on base for him to get pulled.

Still, Rays are counting on miracles for winning games. That ain't gonna last so that's good.

If Middlebrooks hadn't botched that double play it would of been a different story, and yeh Bucholtz wasn't sharp hasn't been really since he got back from the DL.
 
That Dodgers game had me pretty nervous for a while, but Uribe came through with a huge 2 run bomb to go from a 1 run deficit to a 1 run lead in the bottom of the 8th inning. That was great!
