Superstar Racing Experience

I don't think one was ever intended to be direct competition for the other. Nascar was the best current drivers. SRX wants this all star dream team of veteran drivers and has no manufacturer's to try to satisfy with car design. They can literally make the ugliest, worst aero car ever and not care.

After spending a lot of bucks for them to come to Eldora, Nascar isn't going there this year. I don't think Tony is jumping up and down doing flip flops having the race jerked out from under him. I could be wrong, but that is why I am curious to see if any races are at Nascar owned tracks.

They shot for a TV deal and got it. Crowds would be icing on the cake at this point. As far as Nascar goes, costs would have to be next to nothing for short tracks to pay out but I bet SRX can handle it

I know Stafford has been mentioned as a potential place. Very strong NASCAR connections there. Ray Evernham ran a vintage race there a couple years ago. But nothing announced on their schedule about SRX or any "stay tuned" dates.

yeah I'm not running the show. They could be hard loaded for nothing but short tracks and Slinger could be a possibility, but I would go for road America if I had my druthers. A steady diet of short tracks isn't my cup of tea.

I'd be fine with a roadcourse of some kind, but I don't think having 12 cars on a 4 mile course is the made for tv action they want. Nor would it fit well as a Saturday night race. You would either need a short course where you could maybe put up lights, maybe something the size of Lime Rock, or you have to build some sort of makeshift Roval.

I think you are forgetting IROC that ran a dozen cars.
And the only time I saw them on a roadcourse it was a bad race. They also rarely ran short tracks

probably need to look at the IROC Daytona road race ran at night

I watched it live back then it wasn't that good. What I'm saying it lighting a 4 mile track in the woods isn't a good use of resources for a new series.

Milwaukee Mile would be the best bet, but I'm clueless when it comes to scheduling.
I'm going to guess Road America or the short track Slinger. Every race I have watched at the Milwaukee mile you can't see the cars because of the dust.

The Ad clearly says Saturday nights under the lights, so I guess that would rule out Road America. My guess would be Slinger or maybe Plover if they were staying on asphalt. The Milwaukee mile has been nothing but financial troubles for years. My office is less than a mile from that track and I can't tell you the last time I heard a car running around that place, although I guess the ARCA Menards Series is supposed to be coming back for 2021? If dirt I would say Beaver Dam, I know smoke has come and raced there several times in the past.

The newly renovated West Virginia Motor Speedway would be a great choice.

ARCA Midwest Tour was able to get a decent crowd (6K) if I recall at The Milwaukee Mike in 2019 & they are now bringing back the ARCA Menards Series.

Honestly it would be a decent ticket to pair it with ARCA but who knows.

My guess:

- Eldora Speedway (confirmed)
- Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis (confirmed)
- Stafford Speedway (confirmed)
- Milwaukee Mile (longer venue, has open wheel & stock car history)
- Iowa Speedway (needs more events other than just ARCA)
- Nashville Fairgrounds (another historic venue with no big NASCAR events back yet)

I don’t see what incentive Tony Stewart has to run Knoxville or a lot of dirt but who knows. Seems like some of these facilities might make more sense with the roster they got.

Selfishly I'd love to see it run at slinger. What would be better than putting those guys on a high banked 1/4 mile? I can't imagine putting a somewhat smaller field on a 1 mile track that isn't known for producing the best racing would provide near the level of excitement.

Yeah I'm not seeing them going for the larger tracks. Bull rings so far. I'm guessing that a road race at least one has to be in their selection because all of their drivers aren't oval specialists and some of them are darn good road racers. So far my guess has been right about them racing on non Nascar owned tracks.

Beaver Dam would be awesome. Shawano and Tomahawk would be other great choices for dirt. There's also the quarter mile asphalt in Wausau that Scott Wimmer owns
