Hornish paces final XFINITY practice: #22-Sam Hornish, Jr. was quickest in final practice at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course with a speed of 94.857mph.
#20-James Davison was second, followed by: #19-Matt Tifft, #18-Regan Smith, #00-Cole Custer, #21-Daniel Hemric, #1-Elliott Sadler, #11-Blake Koch, #7-Justin Allgaier, and #4-Ross Chastain.
#98-Casey Mears wrecked into the barriers near the end of practice after having a brake issue, which cut the session short. His team brought out the backup car.

Davison has previously competed at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in the Indy Lights Championship Series, earning two wins, a seventh-place finish, a pole starting position and led 41 laps.
