I hate to sound negative, but I do not think we will see Tony at his old caliber again. He isn't healed and it will be some time before he is, and with age already not on his side things just aren't looking that great for him.

If NASCAR had replaced Logano or Bowyer with Gordon, they would have pissed off either Toyota or Ford, and added another Chevy. As it stands there are now 3 Toyotas, 3 Fords and 6 Chevys. I feel it is unfortunate though, and the ripple effect should have been addressed.

Put Kurt in a top tier car and he will be a championship contender. It is amazing to see how well he runs in underfunded equipment.
