Im really to tired to type, but i took the lead when the leader spun him self out right in front of me, and lead the last 6 laps. We had about 8 restarts in 6 laps. (Yellow dont count in dirt) and was able to hold them off for my 1st win in the mini mod class and at Clarksville!!

Thanks buck! Im trying to just make the chase then going to really go for it. Iv raced there 5 times this year, missed 5-6 point races, and 10th in points. so im pretty happy!!

I went and looked at another car today. Nothing special about it. It will be my Paducah car. Just were i can get UMP national points and everything.
Clarksville was fun this week. Due to a low car count in our class we ran just a feature. no heats. I started 3rd. I knew the car in front of me was "slow" (well slower then me) And on the start once the green is out, you can go and pass. So i held back a little on the guy, and once the leader started to rev his motor comming out of 4, i droped to the bottom and look the lead! Lead all 12 laps. I had one car pass me, but i guess he tryed so hard, he spun out! and the last lap i had a car pull up beside me, but i drove it in deep the last lap and held em off for my 2nd win in a row!!

I got another car tonight. As of now it's not much. Got to do a lot of work to get it on the track. Might not be able to get out this year. When we build cars we do not just throw something togather.
Work to do on new car:
Sand-primer-paint
paint cage and inside of car
Take off doors/hood
strip out doors and hood
build front bumper
build kickers onto cage, re do door bars
set up front and rear end. (If i told ya id have to kill ya)
Strip un-needed parts from upder hood. (AC, Heater, Wipers, ect)
and maybe some more stuff.
But before i do that, i got to stip out some parts cars i have seting around. Going to be a busy next few weeks

Sounds like some good racin'. No torn up race car. That's always a good thing. Good finish in the feature.

I was disapointed that the car did not run better. I was driving the car in so hard i was lifting the left rear wheel off the ground around 8 in! (car is Front wheel drive)
But the good news is, if i have done my math right. I am LOCKED in the Chase. Not really for sure were i will start the Chase at in points. But as of right now i am 9th. But I could be higher up when it starts. (not for sure on the format they use)

I know iv never been a fan of the chase in NASCAR, but hell i like this!
I don't understand why they gave the leader 1000 points. When most drivers that were leading had over 1000. And 11th to even 14th in some classes is still really close. I think it should be 2000 for even 3000 for the leader and down 5 points each tell 10th. I have been temped to call the owner. But i dont think he wants to hear from me for a little while.
I guess play time is over, time to kick ass and take names!

Heat - 3 (Car was running bad, and still olny got passed by one car, and that was on last lap....they said i jumped the start twice, but i say i just did once. the car beside me was not going...he knew if i got a good start and took the lead i would be gone, so on the 3rd start i let him start the race.)

Im tryin to figger out points. I moved up to 4th, but am now 26 points behind. But the "leader" i have beat both weeks. I added up with and it turns out rights, i just dont see how it can be. How i went from 19 out. to 26 out and i finished 2nd!!
The car that won and was 400 pounds light (they let the guy keep win and money, but got no points) blew up in hot laps...Them Toyota's make good power and can screem, but when they blow...they blow big time!

Depending on if they drop non-members and everything, after i recived my points from 8-16-08 I could be around 100th in the nation, and 22nd in TN.
Last year i was 18th in the Mid America Nation. But they are doing the points this year, like they do with the rest of the classes. I know i will not be able to win it this year, but maybe i can keep sneeking up and get another cool trophy this year.

Im tryin to figger out points. I moved up to 4th, but am now 26 points behind. But the "leader" i have beat both weeks. I added up with and it turns out rights, i just dont see how it can be. How i went from 19 out. to 26 out and i finished 2nd!!
The car that won and was 400 pounds light (they let the guy keep win and money, but got no points) blew up in hot laps...Them Toyota's make good power and can screem, but when they blow...they blow big time!

Depending on if they drop non-members and everything, after i recived my points from 8-16-08 I could be around 100th in the nation, and 22nd in TN.
Last year i was 18th in the Mid America Nation. But they are doing the points this year, like they do with the rest of the classes. I know i will not be able to win it this year, but maybe i can keep sneeking up and get another cool trophy this year.

Great job, but you are going to have to work on not jumping the flag.
